Spook 11 - the 4pm bookstacks P.1

"The fifth of the school mysteries? Yes I've heard of it!" Aoi said to Yashiro.

"Really! S-so what's the rumor!?" Yashiro asked.

"Oh, Nene-chan! You sure do like these stories" Aoi said. "All right, I'll tell you! School mystery no. 5, the 4pm bookstacks. In this school's library there is a special storeroom you can only enter at 4pm. The room is full of people's names. Each of these books contains a record of that person's life at this school. What they did here, what they're going to do here. Past, present, and future- it's all written in the book!"

"(Y/n)-chan!" Yokoo yelled. "What happened to your hand!" He asked worriedly.

Satou walked over to Yokoo and (Y/n). "(Y/n)-chan. Seriously what happened. Yesterday you disappeared and the next day you hurt your hand."

"It was a cooking accident.. I went home because I wasn't feeling good and I cut one of my fingers while cutting carrots." (Y/n) lied through her teeth.

"You need to be more careful (Y/n)-chan!" Yokoo cupped her hands in his.

"Okay Yokoo-kun." (Y/n) said while looking down. Her face was heating up. "I have to go now! Bye Yokoo-kun, Satou-kun!" She waved.

She arrived at the bathroom to see Kou and her homeroom teacher Tsuchigomori.

"Oh! (Y/n)-chan!" Kou yelled.

"Sorry Kou, I have to use the bathroom." (Y/n) said as she squeezed past Kou and into the girls bathroom to hide in a stall.

'Minamoto-kun and..?' Yashiro thought. "Is something the matter?" Yashiro asked as she walked up to Kou.

"Perfect timing senpai!" Kou dragged Yashiro in front of him. "It's this guy! He's mine and (Y/n)-chan's homeroom teacher. He's being mean!"

"Mean?"

"Ooh you're the girl that rammed into me yesterday." Tsuchigomori said.

"I-i'm sorry!" Yashiro apologized. "Um, did Minamoto-kun do something?"

"Oh, no I just had a bit of a favor to ask him."

"A favor?"

"I was hoping he would stop going into the girls' restroom. We're getting complaints from our female students."

"But I'm doing it to protect the students! Right senpai!?"

"Hmm, well.. I do think it's wrong for a boy to go into a girls' restroom..." Yashiro said.

"I'll report you to your guardian." Tsuchigomori said.

"No..not you too, senpai and Hanako's not even here. How am I supposed to keep my promise to Teru-nii..?" Kou said.

(Y/n) walked out of the bathroom where she was hiding. "Hanako-kun's not here?"

"I got here a few minutes ago and found this.." Kou showed Yashiro and (Y/n) the paper with doodles of a dragon chasing people, hakujoudai, and it was signed 'Hana'.

"A meeting? Ack- Minamoto-kun, what time is it!?" Tsuchigomori asked.

"A little after four."

"Oh, darn it! I had a meeting at four! Minamoto-kun! Anyway, please stop going into the girls' restroom!" Tsuchigomori yelled as he rushed down the hall.
