dark clouds have covered the sky over the city. rain falling from it and hitting the surface of san's room. the loud sounds are all around them but it was relaxing. a small heater, the only thing in the room that is keeping them warm. but being in san's arms was the biggest source of warmth wooyoung could get.

laying on his bed, san spooned the younger not only for warmth but also for comfort. it has been a few weeks since wooyoung has left his parents house. he tried to get some explanation from his mother but she just avoids the subject. right now he's mostly staying with san. there are times where he goes to his cousins house but he doesn't want to disturb him much.

wooyoung has his head resting on san's chest. the rain sounds combined with the sound of his lovers heartbeat makes him feel safe. he doesn't want this moment to end. he doesn't want to face his problems again. he just wants to stop time and be with san for eternity.

"did you know i can basically attend college if i want to." san said looking down to wooyoung who has his head rest on his chest.

wooyoung was surprised by what san said. he looks up at san who is waiting for an answer by wooyoung. the younger lets out a light laugh.

"is that what you've been thinking about all this time?" he asks with a smile. san didn't respond, he only nodded his head. it looks like he was already regretting saying that in the first place.

"of course you can. i know you're a good student."

san finally grows a shy smile grow on his face. he never had someone who had faith in him with his studies.

"so if i graduate collage, will you run away with me?" suddenly san was ready to attend collage. a few months ago he was ready to quit high school.

"what happened to 'bad reputation san'?" wooyoung tilts his head.

he looked at the ceiling, trying to find an answer. why did he have a bad reputation in the first place? only because he grew up without parents or what? it was so sudden. when he entered school he immediately was know for being bad.

"I guess 'bad reputation san' is trying to turn into good." wooyoung let a little smile grow on his face. he loved that san was going to try to do better.

"will you run away with me after collage?" wooyoung seems to like that idea. that's what has been on his mind 24/7. running away. away from his problems.

"we can move to another city. maybe even leave Korea. no one will know us. plus we both start working somewhere and earn money for ourselves. just start a new life. without having a bad reputation anymore." san said. he was tired of this city. tired of being seen as a bad person. just live a normal life.

"why wait til after collage when we can run away right now?" wooyoung asked looking up at san.

"let's at least finish high school and then we can figure out what to do." san answered with a reassuring smile. but wooyoung just pouts in response which san found adorably cute.

"its fine. there are only a few months left." laying his head back again and caressing wooyoungs head.

"promise we will leave as soon as possible. this city at least."

"promise."

with that wooyoung gets back on listening to san's heartbeat. imagining what their lives could look like in a few years.

"what's your dream city? where should we move to?" san laughs. he finds it cute how excited the other gets only from picturing something so far away from them still.

"hmm what about Barcelona?"

wooyoung looked at him curiously.

"Barcelona? for what so you can party and get high there?"

"hey i stopped taking drugs." san defended himself even tho he knew wooyoung doesn't mean it in any way insulting.

"i know you did." wooyoung plays with san's hands, drawing small circles on the back of his hand.

"what continent do you prefer the most?"

"i like European countries. they seem so artistic plus their safe."

san starts to think again. an artistic city which is safe.

"shall we move to paris?"

wooyoung thinks about it for a moment. the French city of love and art. everything he is wishing for.

"i would love to live there. but that doesn't mean were not going to visit barcelona." he again starts imagining how it could look like. just a simple life surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. maybe on the outskirts of the city. a small house in a nice neighborhood. all alone with san. only the two of them.

his thoughts were soon disrupted by a loud thunder. wooyoung flinches after hearing the loud thud, holding the person beside him with all his power.

"did that scare you?"

he feels an arm securing and pulling him closer to san. the hand on his back starts slowly stroking up and down.

"that feels familiar." wooyoung thought.

"are you scared?" the little boy asks. that was a loud thunder sound and wooyoung has been afraid from storms his whole childhood. there were situations that left him traumatized when he was younger. he couldn't respond to his friend, he was scared. wooyoung felt his friend hug him and slowly stroking his back.

"it will be over soon, wooyoungie. you can hold my hand if you're scared."

"he also used to do that." wooyoung says, remembering the old times. san didn't respond. he knew if he was going to respond to that it would be a lie anyway.

san intertwined his and wooyoungs hand and kept them close to his chest. he knew that's the only thing he could do.

"what if i tell you?"
