I was so fascinated by her beauty that i couldn't bring myself to concentrate on the road. I can't just stop looking at her. She was deeply lost in her thought that she couldn't notice anything else except the view at her side.
I was grateful that she didn't notice that our car almost ran into the truck in front of us. After riding around for almost an hour i heard a sound that seems like a rumbling stomach, i felt shy immediately thinking it was my tummy. Well I haven't had anything called food in my belly since last night so i can't blame my tummy for the cry.
I began thinking of a way to get her mind back to the present when the sound come again. "FUCK" I cursed almost in a whisper before realizing it isn't my tummy that was making the noise but hers. 'Wow! She must be really pissed off for leaving home without eating anything'.
'Could this day ever get better?' I thought to myself.
I would not only spend my morning with my crush but also have the opportunity to have breakfast with her. God! Really did you plan all this just for me? I asked God silently.
I turned and cut her staring at me.
I raised an eyebrow at her questioning as if i haven't been doing the same. But it's my luck anyway that i wasn't cut red handed."Mmm...Jason" she began and then stopped and look away shyly as her tummy growl again. " am sure you heard that...you don't need to pretend" she said beaming.
"You are sure i heard what?" I asked acting as if i had no idea what she was talking about. She turned and face me as if to say 'you liar. stop pretending' but she rather smiled and look ahead.
"Well, you haven't answered my question. But to be frank, I heard everything...your stomach growl so loudly and for a second i thought there was a monster in the car with us"
I said grinning at her and she laughed."Well, am sure i wasn't the only one who haven't eaten before coming on this ride..."she said confidently to my face. I looked at her raising a brow questioningly.
"What? am i lying?" She said looking like someone who just get the answer to a difficult quiz.
" my tummy wasn't growling..." I said in a cocky manner. She pouted and give me the 'are you serious look'.
I stopped at the restaurant I went to with Jessica the other time. The restaurant is really nice and there food is dope, their things are quite expensive also but what do you expect of a 4point rating restaurant.
I packed my car and got down only to see Mercy walking to my side. She stopped in front of me and lean forward slightly as if she was going to hug me but rather she whispers to my hearing.
"Maybe next time you shouldn't be so sure of yourself Mr yawner" she said and smirked at me before walking off into the restaurant with me walking behind.
Wow so i have been yawning this own time without noticing.
We got inside and she picked a table for us. I decided to order few snacks with the menu in my hand when she tapped my arm.
"Here...hand it over and let me make the order before you fill the table with junks" she said collecting the menu from my hand.
I grunt and let her take it off my hand. Of course she is right i was about ordering soda and meat pie or hamburger.
"Have you eaten anything?" She asked and i was about to nod my head in reply unfortunately my lips sill the bean.
