Jason...
"It's a day to my party Mom" I yelled out walking down the stairs to the kitchen to met my mother.
She came back yesterday and the house has been lively having my family around.
Getting to the kitchen she open her hands out for me to come hug her.
I walked over to her giving her a hug. It looks awkward hugging my Mom like she's my little sister.
We got our Dad's height and that makes mummy fall out of place around us.She is so...soft and her scent filled my nostrils.
"You have no manner at all. No good morning to your favorite person" she remains me of not greeting her letting me out of her hands.
"You know that my love for you is worth more than that momma" she hits my shoulder and go back to her work.
"But greeting is not the same as loving"
She said in her British ascent. Mom has the best ascent in this house.
Although we all speaks well but her's is so natural."E ma bi nu ma...E ka ro mummy" I said in Yoruba our native language.
"Silly son. Do you have to say that?" She laughed.
"You wanted cultured manner my queen" I said mocking in British.
She looked at me giving her best Smiles."What will you like for breakfast honey?" She asked.
"I don't know. I will love anything you are having mother" she smiled.
"I am making pancakes for breakfast"
"Oh my God!!! Are you serious?? This is so great mother" I said excitedly.
"And Jessica is coming over. She called the house line earlier to ask if you guys could spend time together today and I told her you will love to"
She said making me freeze."Mom I don't have time to spend with Jessica. I invited someone over today she is coming to assist me with my birthday preparation.
I won't have time for Jessica being around here" Mom looked at me questioning."A she??!..like a girl from school?"
She asked surprised.
Well I will also if someone tells me that. Knowing the kind of person I am."Yeah Mom, A she" I answered Putting my hands in my pockets and leaning on the kitchen bar.
"Oh my gosh!!! Do Gabie know about this??"
She looks attornished. My mouth falls apart at how amazed she is."Mom?? Is it that bad? I mean I do have a heart and I love Mercy like...since forever!" I justify.
"Her name is Mercy? Wow that's a great name....You know I was thinking of giving you that name before your Dad and I concluded on Jason. I never knew you got mercy in you my baby" she smiles widely giving a beautiful cute giggles along.
I smiled back at her pretty face. She gives the best smile and I will do anything to be the cause of that adorable expression on her face.
I love my Mom and seeing her happy is the best gift anyone can give to me."Come on tell me about her? Is she beautiful, crazy??, brave? And ooh ohh..is she hmm umm.." she tingles me on my tummy causing me to trip over in laughter with all the winks she adds with her questions.
"Tell me jhoor!!!"
I gave a goofy smile at the way she is eager to get information out of me."Okay mum. I will tell" I said catching my breathe.
"She is Mr Joel's Daughter" I said receiving a go ahead nods from her.
"Mom!!! She is everything I love about girls...like my own kind of girl"
I said demonstrating with my hands... that's all I got to give out."Since you won't give me extra informations...I will just wait until she comes over and I will feed my curiosity to the fullest"
She said reassuring me and going back to her dough mixing of pancakes."Sure. Where is Gabriel?? I haven't seen him" Gabe has not showed up in the kitchen yet. I was expecting him to walk in any moment but I guess my expectations will be drained down to the pit.
"Ohh, your brother went out this morning. He will be back tomorrow midnight or next. He came back for business purpose honey" she replied turning her attention to me.
Well here goes the one person I wanted to gist with all night long about my life.
He never came for me or Mom. The idiot came for a business target. Mtcheww.....
