Students began to file into the classroom as you were already seated on the third row closest to the window. As always when the teacher entered, the room gradually hushed down until there was nothing but quiet whispers.
To your nightmare neither of your bff's shared this class with you and to your nightmare, you had just noticed Bob's eyes fall on you.
You sat stiffly, keeping your eyes on your notes until you felt a kick at your feet under the chair from your back. You startled at once, twisting your body backward.
Of course, that pesky boy was faking innocence.
"Yes, Miss. (L/N)?" You heard the teacher address you.
You turned back at him. "Yes?"
"Is there any problem?" He cocked an eyebrow.
You shook your head.
"Eyes on me," the man warned sternly, making an eye-to-eye signal with his fingers, and resumed with the lesson.
Fucking Bob. That infuriating chuckle coming from behind you actually made you snap your pencil in half, and you had no trouble imagining hin grinning from ear-to-ear.
This weekend you were going to stay over at Lynda's, and you sure as fuck were going to bring this all up.
Fifteen minutes later the bell rang, indicating lunch break. Half the students immediately leaped up from their seats to leave for their one hour of freedom.
You did the same, throwing your backpack over your shoulder, but not before spinning on your heel and flipping your harasser off.
When you opened your locker, you were greeted with a small note slipping out and fluttering to the floor.
Picking it up, you looked at it for a good minute, definitely not recognizing the messy handwriting on it.
'Meet me at the park after school hours' it read.
"(Y/N)!" Annie called as she came toward you with a book in her arms, coming to stand next to you when she saw the paper in your hand. "What's that?"
You showed it to her and her eyebrows furrowed as she glanced at you confusedly. "I got no idea either, but I think it's from Loomis."
"Loomis?"
"Yeah," you sought out the books for your last three periods of the day and shifted them to your side before clicking the metal shut with more force than necessary. "I'll tell you on the way out."
Annie trailed behind you until you began slinking your way through the quickly dwindling crowd and to the parking lot, where a vacant picnic bench was awaiting your arrival. "Yesterday, this child psychiatrist came to our house. Said he came with bad news."
"What bad news?" Annie questioned, putting down her books beside her.
"Not much. Only that Michael Myers escaped and that I've apperently known him when I was barely out of the diapers," you replied dismissively.
When you saw Annie's answering look of horror, you gave out a loud laugh through the nose. "Yep. And he really expects me to just go along with it all."
A hush fell over the both of you where the only sounds were the chirping of birds and your own breathing.
Her expression went from shocked to thoughtful. "That's insane... And your parents? What did they say?"
"Dad wasn't home, but mom gave me the whole story," you muttered with slagged shoulders, more to yourself.
Annie must've seen the disappointment and annoyance in your balled fists. "Relax. This is a lot to deal with, but (Y/N), why would she lie about it? I know something like this would be hard to accept but..."
