Chapter 32

Tessa's Pov

I hear the bell on the door ring so I look over and see Y/n and Hardin wet from the rain outside.

"Hey" Y/n says sitting next to me, while Hardin sits next to her, at the end of the table. Y/n takes a look at everyone before saying a quick "hi."

Steph gives Y/n a funny look while me, Zed, Jace and Molly all look at Steph.

"There's something you need to know. But it's not what you think." Steph says, getting out her phone.

Hardin looks over to Y/n and me knowing somethings about to go down. Hardins eyes start watering.

Steph holds the phone up to our faces and a video starts playing showing the night of the first party we both went to. " I could get them both,"

Hardins voice.

"I could take away Tessa virginity and Make
Y/n fall in love with me."

No, no this can't be happening, the look on her face. My face probably the same.

My heart breaks for the both of us. He took my virginity.

Made Y/n fall in love with him

I feel my eyes starting to water. Steph puts her phone down before saying "you were bets, babes."

Tears fall from my eyes.

"And you all knew?"

I look over to Hardin then to Y/n. Y/n looks over to me sending me look asking if I knew or not then the same look to Molly. But then she starts laughing.

"You don't think I know?" Lie, that look on her face is the same as it was when she said that she knew her dad was cheating on her mother.

"He told me right away. Hate to break it to ya." She says standing up. "Imma let y'all chat about how it failed for me."

"Come on Tessa."

I shake my head.

"Suit yourself but their not your friends."

She walks over to the door and walks out. I look back to everyone, I should tell them.

We sit in silence for a second before I stand up grab everyone but Steph by the arm and pull them out by the arm to Hardins car.

"She didn't know." I say when we reach Hardins car.

"What?!" They all say together.

Hardins starts pacing back and forth.

"Hardin!" I shout at him. "Hardin!" I shout again. "Hardin! Listen to me." I say grabbing him by the shoulders catching his attention.

"As angry and upset that I am did Y/n ever tell you what happened when she was fourteen?"

"No..-wait yes!" He says running his hands through his hair.

"Why? What happened when she was fourteen?" Molly says.

"I'll tell you in the car but Hardin if she told you what happened she would have told you she tried to take her life, and she tried to take it at the memorial park here, in our town, where we are right now but at a park and there's a chance she could try again!" I tell him, while we all rush to get into the car.

Hardin starts up the car and starts driving there.

Y/ns Pov
I'm running on the field to the park where I last tried to take my life. I  hear a car pull up. "Y/n!" I hear a few people yell out.

Shit they've found me.

I keep running. When I reach the cliff, memories come flooding back.

"Y/n don't!" I hear someone say.

I turn around to see Hardin, Tessa, Molly, Zed and surprisingly Jace.

"I was fourteen! The last time I tried. Three times in one year. Last time was here. Fourteen. I was still a baby. I didnt deserve any of it. And I trusted you. You knew I was touchy about it. And you still did it."

"It was all a lie. Why are you focusing on me not Tessa. What you did to her is fucked up Hardin."

Hardins Pov
If she does it it's my fault, my fucking fault.

"I'm sorry, I'm really fucking sorry. I love you so fucking much but please drop the blade." I say trying to get her to drop it.

"Do you though? Would you say the same thing if it was Tessa?"

She's going to break my heart in a second with anything she does or says.

"Don't be sorry. I trusted you, my fault not yours." She laughs. I felt my heart start to ache.

My hot, salty tears rolling my cheeks. Sobs falling from my mouth.

"Y/n please! We all love you and we can't lose you!" Molly says.

"I just wish that was true." She says starting to walk backwards. "I love you all." She says, cutting her wrists.

"No!!!" We all yell, running towards the edge.

I wrap my arms around Y/n's unconscious body.

"Someone call fucking 911!" I shout my sobs blocking my voice. I hear Zed talking on the phone. Me, Molly and Tessa whispering stuff about wanting Y/n to be ok and Jace sitting next to me with his hand on my back.

I hear muffled sirens but all I can mostly hear is a voice in my head telling how much I have fucked up. Zed starts running  to get the paramedics to us. The paramedics push me away from Y/ns body. "Please just fucking help her." I say running my hands through my hair. Molly comes up to me and wraps her small arms around me. "I have to call her mum or-or someone does." I say freaking out. "Tessa already is ok. Everything's gonna be ok." Molly says reassuring me. "Hardin we're going to go to the hospital in your car ok. I'm going to drive us there." Molly says, tears running down her cheeks.

We all get in the car and start driving to the hospital.

Mollys Pov
We're all sitting in the waiting room of the hospital waiting for any news on Y/n, her mother got here a few minutes ago, her eyes bloodshot like the rest of us. Hardins  sobbing in a corner, so is the rest of us.

"When can we fucking see her!?" Hardin yells, smacking the front desk. "Hardin stop." I say pulling on his top.

"Y/n Whitmore?" A doctor says.
Hardin immediately walks his direction and follows him to Y/ns room.

We walk into Y/ns hospital room. She connected to a bunch of cables. Her mother and Hardin sit on each side of her holding each of her hands. Tessa sits next to her mother and I sit next to Hardin.

"Where am I?" A choked voice let's out. We all look over to Y/n to see her eyes open.

"Your in the hospital sweetheart." Her mother sobs.

All Y/n does is look at all of us before her eyes land on Hardin.

"Get him out." Y/n says to Hardin.

"Y/n please." Hardin says tears still rolling down his cheeks. "No, get out."

"Y/n please just give me two minutes to explain."

"Fine."

Y/ns Pov
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry and I get that if you don't want to ever see me again but I just need you do know I will always love you and it's you. In a thousand of lifetime, in a hundred ways, it's you. It'll always be you. I will leave and give you all the time you need." He told me, both of us crying. That was exactly what I needed him to say but he succeeded in making me fall in love with him and then breaking me.

He stood up kissed me on the forehead and left. He left. He did what he said he would do.
