"Sure, do you need something?" She replied. "Oh no its not that, can you just meet me at this cafe tomorrow?" He added, writing down the address, handing it to her. Yunhee carefully folded it into her purse and hurried to pick up the kids, almost running late.
Before the twins got home, their mother prepared some kimbap they could share with Rona. Seokkyung, obviously upset that Rona's mother was the one driving her from school, threw a fit to her mom. "Tell Rona she can come in", Suryeon whispered into her daughter's ear, ignoring her antics. "Fine..", Seokkyung bluffed. She let Rona come in and they sat down on the couch, treating themselves to some kimbap. "Mm this is really good! Did your mom make them?" Rona politely asked as she stuffed herself with the delicious snack. "Yea whatever you can just ask her" the girl ignorantly replied. Seokhoon and Rona worked on some homework they had after eating. Seokkyung, seeing how happy his brother was with Rona, felt ashamed of herself. "Maybe she's not as bad of a person as I thought she is" she thought to herself, still feeling a bit of jealousy. She decided to sit down down next to them, not saying anything, just following along as they marked their papers. Seokkyung, frustrated, struggled to find the answer to problem 19. "Do you want help?" Rona proposed to her, kindly. Seokkyung groaned, embarrassed, but agreed. Soon, Rona went back home and washed up, sequentially going to bed.
The next day, Yunhee had remembered she was supposed to meet Yoonchul in about an hour. She called up Suryeon and asked if she could take Rona to school for her so she would make it on time. After getting ready, she made her way to the Cafe they were meant to meet up at. Yoonchul, being there 5 minutes early, was sitting on a chair, patiently. "You're here" He said, as his eyes laid upon Yunhee, who looked more beautiful then ever in his eyes. They shook hands and greeted eachother formally. "You can talk to me comfortably" He chuckled. "Sorry" Yunhee replied, feeling embarrassed. They both ordered drinks and sat, waiting in awkwardness. "Why did you want to meet me?", Yunhee was quick to bring up the point. "I just wanted to see how you've been doing" Yoonchul hesitated to speak. They both giggled to attempt to lighten up the mood. Yunhee, sipping her strawberry milkshake, stayed silent. Whilst Yoonchul admired her charms. "You haven't changed, you're still as beautiful as ever", Yoonchul whispered to himself. "What was that?" Yunhee asked, not being able to comprehend what he said. "Oh nothing" Yoonchul replied.
They both finished their drinks and headed their own way. Leaving the isle of the Cafe, Yunhee, not watching her step, bumped into Seojin. Instinctively, Seojin carefully caught her in her warm arms, "A-Are you okay?". Yunhee, stunned from both Almost falling and Seojin's kind reaction she's never witnessed before, softly nodded. Seojin, clearing her throat uncomfortably with embarrassment, quickly let go once Yunhee was upright on her feet. A few seconds passed with a moment of solemn silence and awkwardness. "What are you doing here?" Yunhee asked, trying to forget about what had just happened. "I just had some errands... to run" Seojin replied.
At school, Eunbyeol offered Seokkyung to come study at her house with her. Hearing their conversation, their classmates rolled their eyes, knowing she's only trying to get closer to her crushes sister. On the other hand, Seokhoon, Rona, and Jenny all made plans to get ice cream after the lesson.
Finally making it back home, Yunhee sat down in the dining room, treating herself to lunch. Suddenly, a train wreck of thoughts came racing to her mind. "Why would Seojin... do that?" She thought to herself, "She would even kill me if she had the chance too".
After a long day, everyone had gotten pretty exhausted. Everyone was sound asleep, that is, except for Yunhee. She's been in bed for an hour, twisting and turning to attempt to find a comfortable position, when she just couldn't seem too. "Why am I like this?" She thought to herself, "Am I not sleepy enough?". She tried convincing herself it was because she slacked off today and skipped the gym, but she kept getting reoccurring thoughts that spoke otherwise. She still couldn't figure out why Seojin would do that. She kept thinking, until her mind would finally tire out.
The next morning Rona had been quickly dropped off at school by her mother. "Is everyone ready for the midterm assessment?" The teacher asked, as the students were studying at their desks. "Yes", the class boringly replies. Everyone put their stuff up and the tests were handed out. After they all finished they had been invited to try outs for a soprano solo that was to be held at the 1st semester festival. However, Rona couldn't be a part of this, as she was admitted a little later than the sign up due date. Even though, she encouraged her friends and helped them get ready. Seokkyung, Jenny, and some more girls who signed up were getting ready and picking out their music from the "random" box.
Seojin, who was at the office doing even more paperwork, somehow felt bad about not letting Rona audition, even though Rona told her it was okay. She couldn't process her feelings, but since it was too late to change anything, she let it slip.
Seokkyung was to go up next after the second person. She was nervous, but Rona let her in on a few tips, leaving her feeling reassured. "Joo Seokkyung, you're up", the teacher gave her a cue. Seokkyung slowly made her way onto the smaller stage. The piano played gracefully and got to the key she was supposed to start at, however she didn't sing.
