Bria was having an absolute ball. She was running around with Ariana and picking different things out for her dolls. I on the other hand was sitting down at one of the small ass tables scrolling through my phone.
This was Bria's time to spend with Ariana and I wanted her to enjoy that.
"Daddy, look at the dolls me n' Ari made!"
I looked up from my phone to see Bria standing there with two dolls in her arms.

"Aww they are absolutely beautiful sweetheart, this one looks just like you."
She smiled and bounced up and down. "Yes daddy, that's cause it is me!"
"Well no wonder it's so beautiful."
"Ari helped me with it!" I looked behind her to see Ariana standing there looking at her feet.
"Great job Ariana."
Ariana's head raised up and her eyes met with my own. "Oh umm I can't take any credit, it was all Bria's doing."
Bria cheesed and pushed her body into Ariana. It is insane just how much my daughter loves this woman.
This was one huge reason I hated things ended the way the did between us. Ya know, besides the obvious of me being deeply in love with her and all. My kid was too, hell she still is, and what happened had a big impact on Bria.
After a couple more hours of them building dolls and picking out outfits. Bria dragging me over to help. Essentially making me play dress up as well. I didn't really mind, I mean anything to make my little princess happy. We decided to go out and grab something to eat.
Bria was honestly in her own little world. She was so excited, I could tell by how she kept swinging her feet back and forth on her chair.
I made sure to check in with the babysitter about Noah. Because I know how he gets when I've been away all day, especially when his sister is gone. She said he was doing fine so I put my attention back on Bria and Ariana.
Ariana was just sitting staring off into space. I don't know what was wrong with her, but she seemed off.
"Hey," I spoke bringing my hand across the table to poke her hand. She looked at me shaking herself out of whatever daze she was in. "You ok?"
She gave me a small smile and nodded. "Oh umm yes I'm fine."
Raising my eyebrow up at her. "You sure? I know that we aren't... close or anything. But you can still talk to me if you need to Ariana."
