Y/N's POV.
I groaned and rubbed my hands over my face. "Alright look, it's lunch time. So why don't we just take a break."
Dolton shrugged. "Sounds good, wanna go and get done lunch bro?"
"Can't. I have a uh-meeting to get to."
"Meeting? But what about taking a break?"
Alright so I lied. I'm about to go and meet up with Ariana and a few of her friends. But it's completely innocent and plus she asked me to come.
"Yes, it's a lunch meeting. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get going before I'm late."
I didn't give another second to respond. I just got up from my seat and opened the door for him to leave.
He got up slowly eyeing me. My eyes never left his as I nodded and watched him leave my office.
"God, finally." I don't know what his deal is, but he is definitely off.
Honestly I don't know why I'm even still putting up with him at this point. Like I get that he's this big time luxury real estate agent or whatever. But I'm about ready to throw my hands up and just do it all myself. Or hire my assistant to figure it out for me.
After letting Janice know that I was on my out. I let Ariana know that I was on my way.
It only took me 15 minutes or so to get to the stadium that I'm guessing she's gonna be performing at. As I walked into the building looking around. Not like I haven't see it before, but it's definitely been a while.
The closer I got to the stage, I could spot some figures standing around.
"Yo Y/N, what's up man." Brian said as he walked over to me.
I smiled and nodded. "Hey what's going on man?"
"Just waiting on the queen to arrive. You know how that goes." He whispered the last part making me laugh.
As I got a bit closer, Scott and Victoria came up to me. There were a few other familiar faces too, but not many.
"So what are you doing here?"
"Yeah, are you and Ariana finally getting back together?"
I shook my head quickly starting to say something but was cut off.
"Shit I hope so, and get rid of that bag of fungus she calls a boyfriend." Victoria said pretending to gag in her hands.
I just stood there listening to them all go back and forth.
"Oh wow, you must be Y/N?"
I looked down to see a very pretty woman standing beside Victoria.
"I am, and you are.."
She smiled showing off her perfectly white teeth. "Normani, it's nice to put a name with a face."
I chuckled and nodded. "It's nice to meet you Normani. You're very beautiful by the way."
She put her hands up to her face and smiled. "Oh stop it! Thank you, you're not so bad yourself." She winked making me chuckle lightly.
"Ok, first I'm here now. Second, if you two are done flirting I'd like to actually have lunch with Y/N." Everyone looked to see Ariana standing there with her arms folded across her chest.
Normani poked her chin making Ariana smack her hand away.
"Hi Ariana." I said as I stepped forward. "Thank you for inviting me to lunch."
