"Ariana, I swear to you to just aren't thinking clearly."

I groaned throwing my head back. See, it's the same shit every time I'm around her and my dad. This is exactly why I hate coming around. It's all they want to bring up.

If it's not questioning my relationship, it's about my damn career and why I'm choosing to do what I want.

They always have something to say. It's so fucking sad and annoying I swear.

Rolling my eyes I glancing over at her as I dug knot my closet. "Oh mom please! I'm not a child I know very well what I am doing."

But of course that didn't stop her from talking to me. Only made her continue.

"Ok, blink twice if you're afraid and need help sweetheart."

I took a long deep breath and nodded. "Yup I do. I need help to get away from you!"

Frankie laughed loudly as he stood up from his chair. "Good one Ari."

"Don't be disrespectful Ariana. I am your mother."

I rolled my eyes and turned around to her. "Well ok then mother. Do you mind leaving me alone and minding your own business. Please?"

"Yeah, honestly mom just back off a bit. Ariana is capable of making her own decisions. Plus if you actually would give him a far chance, then you'd know she made a great choice picking Y/N."

I looked over to Frankie silently thanking him.

Mom looked between the both of us and shook her head. "You'll never understand Ariana. This man has-

"Has what? Two beautiful children that I love and adore as my own?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

Instead of even trying to answer me she just shook her head and walked out of my room.

I rolled my eyes and turned back to what I was doing.

"Hey, sis don't let what she says get to you. You know how she can be. Her and dad, they just want everything we do to go through them first and that's not fair. You don't have to live your life for them. You live it for you."

Looking at him through the mirror I nodded and held his hand that was on my shoulder. "Thank you Frankie. I really appreciate you for speaking up for me."

He's the only one in this family that ever has my back. He doesn't judge me, nor does he stay in my business. Which I greatly appreciate.

He shrugged and winked at me. "Anytime beautiful. Love you!"

I giggled and waved at him. "Love you more babe."

"Not possible."

Once he left I finished up some work and decided to call Y/N. He was really the only person on my mind. I just wanted to hear his voice and see his perfect smile.

So I propped the iPad up and smiled softly once his face appeared. "Hi lovey."
