Chapter 5: Her Pain!

Mikan POV

I can feel it, the pain in my head. No matter how hard I struggle, I can't wake up. Right now, I'm in a total darkness.

" Mikan... Look at me.. "

" Don't leave us... "

The voice, they're coming closer. I glanced around, trying to find a way out. But I can't see anything. It's like I'm buried completely under the sea.

" P-please help.. " I tried to yell, but my voice cracked in the end. " S-someone, please help me.. "

" Mikan? Mikan! Wake up! "
Then I felt something hard hit my forehead. " BAKA! "

My eyes immediately snapped open, covering in sweat. My legs are tangled between the bed sheets, and my breathing is heavy. Trying to calm myself, I looked up. " Hey Mikan, are you okay? " Hotaru asked, her face's full of concern, " You look like you were in pain."

"Huh? Hotaru? Why are you here?" I'm dumbfounded, thinking back, "Oh.. It was just a nightmare..." I breathed a sigh of relief, realizing everything's back to normal.

"Hey Mikan! You haven't told me what's going on yet! " Hotaru yelled at me, taking our her Baka Gun, "or is it that you want some of this?!"

"Oh no no no! " I waved my hands in front of me, "I'll tell you okay? So just calm down for a moment." As I told her about my dream, she shook her head.

"Oh wow, it's just a dream... Don't get so worked up." Hotaru said.
"Hey! Who was the one that's worked up!" I yelled, sweat dropped at the same time.

" Anyways, get dressed, we're going to be late. " Hotaru looked at me and said, "You don't want to be tardy for your first day."

"Okay!" I smiled back, the normal Hotaru is defiantly the best!

After the 100 meter dash, I finally arrived at my classroom. When I slide the door open, I saw Hotaru already seated, calmly fixing her new invention.

" Hey Hotaru! I thought I told you to wait for me to get dressed. I never knew you'll just ditch me and run away on your own!! " I yelled at her, taking out my emotions all at once.

" I came to your room to wake you up, I didn't say we're going to class together. " Hotaru replied. Again, she's giving me her that ' I don't care ' look. Sometimes, she really irritates me..

" Huh?! What did you sa- " Before I can continue, Narumi-sensei came walking in.
Well, rather than walking, you could say that he's literally skipping. " Good morning my wonderful students. Did you have a good night sleep? "

You know, for some reason. I just can't be sure that weather Narumi-sensei is a man or woman... Maybe he's just a cross dresser..

When I got to my seat, I saw Hyuuga-kun looking at me. I didn't know how to react, so I just give him a little smile. To my surprise, he actually waved back.

The moment I sat down, I felt it again.
"Mikan... Don't leave us..."

It was like someone's trying to get inside my head. I kneeled down in pain, grabbing my desk for support. " Aah!! I-it hurts... "

Then suddenly, Huuga-kun's by my side, followed by Hotaru and... the boy with a pet bunny.

"Mikan! Are you okay? What happened? "

That's Narumi-sensei's voice. What should I do? By this point, my head hurts so much that I don't even dare to move.

And then, everything blacked out.
