Phase 1
I caught you looking at me
While you pretend to read that MBA book upside down
I had to laugh.
Phase 2
I could still feel the warmth of your lips
The warmth of your touch
I could still feel you beneath me
Whispering my name, whispering sweet nothings
Marking me, claiming me over and over
You lingered unknowingly
I could not forget.

AVERY
It was my first time in Bangui. Simon told me about his childhood memories here and I can imagine him running around the beach with his siblings as a kid.
"You okay?" He asked me while we were walking by the beach side. We were barefooted and left our slippers by our picnic area. He was wearing his white button down polo shirt and black chino pants while I was wearing my white maxi dress and red bucket hat.
I smiled at him. "Yes Simon." It was almost three in the afternoon. The wind was a bit cold and yet it felt nice.
Simon put his arms around my shoulders and just like that, I felt safe in his warmth.
I am scared on what is next after I get operated. I do not know if I should tell Simon. As of now, Vinny is the only one who knows about my situation. I am thinking of telling it to Spencer because she keeps on bugging Vinny where he was that day.
Then maybe Louise. Louise was already married to Sandro and I kinda think she is an ate material. Maybe I could tell her about it.
Simon and I walked further until we were called by Sandro who was wearing his plain v-neck shirt and khaki shorts. His gold band ring was also visible on his ring finger.
"Let's set up the barbeque griller Si," He spoke, looking at Simon then turned to me. "Louise and Spencer are hanging out in the van. You should join them." He said, smiling.
I nodded and kissed Simon's cheek before heading back to the van.
"I think Vinny is having an affair." It was the first thing I heard when I opened the van.
"Malibog." Louise muttered then looked at me. "Upo ka AC. Ano sa tingin mo? May babae kaya si Vinny?"
"Oo yan. Bata pa lang kami malibog na iyon." Spencer cajoled.
I sat on the van looking at them. Spencer was munching her empanada while Louise was eating pistachios.
"Are you pregnant?" I couldn't help but to ask Louise. She has that kind of pregnancy glow look on her face and she kept on eating those pistachios since a while ago.
Louise made a face. "Naka depo-shot ako."
Spencer giggled. "Sex glow iyan." She said as if reading my mind.
"Oh. Sorry. So what makes you think Vinny is having an affair?" I asked Spencer.
"Hindi ako sinipot noong monthly check-up ko." She said.
