As I slowly opened my eyes, I saw I was in Nokomis's house. I was sitting in a chair, but I wasn't tied to it. Nor were my hands or my feet tied together. I got up, and looked around. The room was fairly small, with a wooden floor and stone walls. All that was in it was my chair, nothing else. Not even a door!
"Wha?" I said out loud, confused by the prospect of how I got here in the first place.
"Where are you?"
Tycho sounded worried.
"In a room with no door in Nokomis's house. You?"
"Nokomis's house. What does the room look like?"
"It's the same as the one Ryan was in, only no door."
I heard someone turn a doorknob outside of my room. Then, I saw Tycho standing in a doorway leading out to the hallway in Nokomis's house. "How....?" I said, dumbfounded. "It must be a one way door. You can only see and use it from one side." Tycho said. "You know this how?" I asked. "I read a random page in your Transmogrification book that happened to be about one way doors." he said, smiling guiltily.
I sighed, rolling my eyes at him. "Where's Nokomis?" I asked. "Dunno. Somewhere in this house, I presume." he replied. "Well, let's look around." I said. We split up, and searched the house, not opening any doors for fear of being trapped again.
After a while, I was about to give up when I heard a voice. Nokomis's, to be exact. I crouched down and peeked my head around the corner. Ryan was actually strapped to a chair, unconscious. Nokomis was pacing back and forth in front of Ryan. "I can't believe he dropped the necklace! And then his wretched sister picked it up! How can I get her to give me it?! Of course, I could just steal it, but she's to smart to let me do that!" she said, then diced a nearby chair with her claws.
I turned back around from the corner and thought. Then, I heard some magical sounds and turned to look around the corner again. Nokomis was fixing the chair using a really cool looking magic spell. After the chair was fixed, she went back to pacing.
My face lit up. I got an idea. I then stood up, and walked around the corner. When Nokomis finally noticed me, she jumped like a cat then asked, "How long were you standing there?" I grinned evily. "Long enough to know that you want the necklace I have. How'd Ryan get it?"
Nokomis sighed. "I dropped it when I walked by what apparently was his friend's house. When he walked there, he found it, and put it in his pocket. I kidnapped him when I found out, and tried to get him to give it to me. He said he didn't have it, and when I went to steal it, I couldn't find it. Then, he dropped it when I kidnapped him a second time, and you found it."
"Wow you're boring when you tell a story!' I said. Nokomis growled and went to slash me with her claws. "Woah woah woah. You would kill the only person who knows where the necklace is hidden?" I shook my head. Nokomis squinted her eyes at me angrily. "What do you mean, hidden?"
"Well duh I hid it." I said matter-of-factly. "Seriously? So I have to go find it?" she asked, not pleased in the least. "Yep!" I squeaked happily. "And I'll retrive it and give it to you in exchange for my brother. Just meet me in two hours in the Dragon Hills. Bring Ryan."
"Fine." Nokomis said. Then Tycho and I left.
