*Sorry this chapter really isn't that good >.< I was like babysitting while writing so it threw off my game.*

Cece POV

Sitting in the cafe, I was lost in thought. It was quiet between the couple in front of me and my self. I couldn't find the words to say.

The internal battle was strong.

I wanted so badly to be adopted, especially because they said they love me! How could I refuse to that? They were so caring and gentle, and they didn't look down or act negatively to me and my baby. They were the sweetest people. Perrie reminded me a lot like my mother, I couldn't help but feel happy around her.

At the same time, the only reason I was holding back, was because they were famous. What if this was a scam? What if they only did this for publicity? I didn't think they would have but you never know. I was also holding back because of Zayn. He was a really sweet guy, but I have trust issued. I can't drop them either, it's hard.

But I could give them what they wanted.

"Okay." I said. perries' eyes lit up. She was excited, and in case you couldn't tell by her face- she even squealed.

"I'm so happy you've made this decision, love! It'll be the best thing I promise! We can have girls nights, and you can relax all you want until your labor, and- oh do you have your license?" She asked.

"Sounds great. No, that's a privilege orphan kids don't get until their adopted or fostered."

"Well, we'll work on that. But I am so excited!"

Perrie went on and on about how excited she was, I couldn't blame her this was her wish at the moment. Zayn on the other hand seemed bored. He had a glazed look, and he stared off into the distance. I smiled, and nodded as Perrie continued to explain her happiness.

Leaving the cafe, some twenty minutes later, Perrie, Zayn, and I made our way to the orphanage.

I felt bad for Marianne. I was her 'go-to' helper. She asked me to leave and go to the groceries if she was busy, she would ask me to help her out everyone to bed. Without me, it'll be too much to handle. What if the orphanage shut down?!

I calmed myself down. She'll be fine. She's handled the kids when I went away for months at a time. We walked towards the door, the steps disappearing behind us.

Perrie raised her knuckles, and knocked on the door. I felt a little uneasy, but it was the right thing to do, for them.

"Hello?" Marianne asked, as she opened the door. Her eyes widening as she saw the sight before her.

"Hello. Are you the orphanage leader?" Perrie asked all seriously.

"Y-yes? Is everything okay?"

"Every things perfect! We've come to adopt Cece!" Surprising Marianne with her sudden outburst of chipperness, Perrie laughed.

"Well, come on in! Oh what a glorious day!" Marianne turned and gave me a big hug while Zayn and Perrie walked inside.

"So, are you sure about this decision? I'm required to ask if you would like to see the other children."

"Um, no thank you, If I seem them I'd want to adopt them all."

"I completely understand!" Marianne stated. I rolled my eyes.

"So, if you will, follow me into my office. Um, Cece, could you just make the kids lunch really quick? One last favor for me?"

I nodded my head, turning around to walk into the kitchen. I looked through all the cabinets, trying to find something that looked appetizing since it was my last meal in here. I grabbed 3 boxes of noodles out of the cabinet, and then 2 jars of spaghetti sauce.

Tonight, I'm becoming Italian.

*********

"Dinners ready!" I call, my voice echoing through out the house. It only took 3 seconds before I heard little feet patter down the staircase. Laughter filled the air as kids came tumbling into the kitchen.

"Cece! Cece! What's for dinner?" They all asked.

"Mama Mia Italiano!" I said, kissing my fingers and letting them go.

The kids giggled, before grabbing a plate. They loaded it up with food, and ran off into the dining room.

"You're really great with kids!" Zayn commented, as the stood in the kitchen entrance.

"Yes she is. She is, well was, always my little helper around here. I'm sure gonna miss her." Marianne said.

I nodded, smiling a little.

"Please, help yourselves." I motioned towards the dinner plates.

*******

After we ate, we sat around talking for a while. It was hard, knowing this was my last night here. It was going by so fast. Perrie and Zayn had already signed the papers, and Marianne was able to approve them quickly. I was pretty much theirs now.

We all sat around laughing for quite some time. The coo-coo clock in the kitchen rang 8 times, signalling it was eight o'clock.

"Well, we should probably get going, huh Cece?" Perrie asked, holding back a yawn; I nodded my head.

I stood up, along with the rest of the girls, and we all got in our traditional group hug. A tear slipped down my cheek. I couldn't leave these kids, they have no one else! I guess they have each other, and Marianne, but they needed me!

It was too late though, I'm already gone.
