Chapter 16

Y/N had woken up to a loud banging noise coming from the kitchen. 'What an annoying thing to wake up to' she thought to herself before getting up from her make shift bed.

She walked into the kitchen to check out the noise but what she saw in front of her amused her.

Kenma and Hinata were surrounded by pots and pans that fell to the floor. The kitchen was engulfed in black smoke and the two were frantically trying to get it out.

They hadn't noticed Y/N 's figure standing in the doorway yet so she decided to take a picture... For memories of course.

SNAP

When the two of them heard the snap they snapped their heads in Y/N's direction.

"Was she their the whole time" Kenma whispered to Hinata.

"How would I know, I didn't even see her" Hinata whispered back.

"Ehem"

Y/N walked into the kitchen, picking up some of the pots that were laying on the floor before stopping in front of the two.

"So what were you guys doing" Y/N asked the two.

"Attempting to make breakfast"

"You know the food is burning right"
Y/N pointed to the burning eggs that stuck to the frying pan.

"Oh shi-, Hinata you were supposed to do the eggs" Kenma said as he scrambled to the frying pan.

"And you were supposed to be doing the bacon" Hinata reminded his friend.

"Ok ok you two, move out of the way"
Y/N pushed the two aside and out of the kitchen.

"Come back when I tell you to" she shooed the two away before turning to the big mess in the kitchen.

"This is gonna be long and tiring" she proceeded to tie her h/c hair into a small messy bun and started working on the mess in front of her.

"You can come back now! " she yelled for the two males to enter the room once more.

"Is this the same kitchen? " Hinata whispered to Kenma.

"Yes it is, now sit down and eat" Y/N pushed the two into there seats and put the food in front of them.

She sat on the counter in front of them and nodded to them, encouraging them to eat it.

"Go ahead"

They took up their utensils and slowly ate the food.

"So how does it taste" she asked them excitedly.

"Good" Kenma said nonchalantly.

"Just good, you gotta tell me how good" Y/N said.

"It tastes really good" Hinata said with his mouth stuffed.

"Thank you, now close your mouth while you eat"

"So what happened to the others" Y/N asked.

"I think they left early" Kenma told Y/N.

"You sure they aren't somewhere hiding" Hinata asked.

"That could be a possibility to" Kenma considered.

"So what are we gonna do today" Y/N asked the two while thinking of all the things that could be done.

"Well I have to leave soon, so that'll leave the two of you to yourselves. " Hinata said with a smirk plastered onto his face.

"Wait really??" Y/N put the spatula onto the counter and slid onto the floor.

She stood in front of Kenma and leaned over the table to ask him a question.

"So what are we gonna do then" she asked Kenma.

"We can-"

"You guys can hang out together today!" Hinata interrupted Kenma with his suggestion.

"Sure let's go with that idea, how about it Kenma? " she asked the male who sat in front of her.

"Yeah we can do that" He turned his away from her, It would be best if she wasn't aware of the blush on his face.

"Ok I'll go get ready then" Y/N left the room and went straight to her new one.

When the two were about to part ways Hinata started conversation.

"Hey Kenma" Hinata whispered to his friend.

"What? " Kenma whispered back.

"Come here"

Kenma leaned in close.

"Closer"

"This is as close as I'm getting Hinata"

"Cmon you wouldn't want Y/N to hear"

"Hear what?!" Kenma paused before moving away slightly.

"You know I ain't fruity" Kenma told him.

Hinata sighed out before pulling his buddy in closer.

"Don't mess this up dude" he said before getting up and leaving Kenma at the table.

"Anyways bye! " the Tangerine smiled before quickly leaving the house.

Another date?!
