Chapter 27

While Hinata, Y/N and Kenma were waiting on the curve with their bags being stacked by Hinata on the sidewalk:

"Tanaka said he's on his way" Kenma stated.

"He's taking forever" Hinata said while rolling onto the grass.

"Why are you on the grass" Y/N queried.

"You can just sit on the suitcase" she patted a suitcase next to her.

"Nah I'm good down here" he thumbsed up before going back to rolling around.

"So remind me, where are we going again" Y/N asked.

"Honestly I don't know" Kenma sighed.

"So we're basically going to an unknown location" Hinata asked to which Kenma nodded in response.

"Great another probably ghost infected building" Hinata said as his grin faltered.

After awhile of silence a vehicle pulled up in front of the three.
The window slowly wined down as a figure appeared.

"Get in" the figure said. When Y/N looked closer she noticed the figure sported a buzz cut with some very tinted glasses.

"Tanaka is that you?" Y/N asked the stranger.

"How did you know" he said with sarcasm.

"Let's just get in the car" she ushered.

When they finished packing their stuff inside the trunk they got into the car and strapped themselves in.

"So how long is it gonna be till we get there?" Hinata beamed.

Tanaka laughed for a short period of time before rubbing his head.

"It's gonna be awhile buddy"

"So we're just supposed to sit in this car forever" Hinata pouted as he slouched Into his chair.

After a few minutes of driving Hinata started to get handsy and decided to press the buttons on the joy stick.

"Oi Hinata stop that!" Tanaka glanced at the tangerine who was currently messing with the buttons.

The windows of the car went up and down along with the rear's windscreen.

"Kenma look" Y/N said, trying to get his attention.

"What?" Kenma said before noticing the fact that Y/N was half way through the back window.

"Get down from there" Kenma's hands landed on her hips, slightly tugging her back.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Y/N said as her face lit up.

She backed out of the window slowly and turned to face him.

"Why were you half way through the window" he facepalmed.

"I don't kno-"

Y/N was interrupted by the car... Splitting in half?!

"Tanaka?!" Y/N shouted as she pushed herself further onto the seat.

Sadly for those two Tanaka didn't hear them but Hinata did.

He waved off to them before going back to acting like nothing happened.

After the shock passed the two looked at each other in silence.

"They left us" Kenma said in a dead panned tone.

Y/N tried to take the situation seriously but thinking about how the car split in half amused her.
