Chapter 29

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅.

It's been a few hours since the doppelganger incident and when I tell you this place is weird I ain't over exaggerating.

Let's start off from the beginning, when they wake up.

Kenma woke up to the sound of a loud bass boosted speaker in the kitchen.

"What the hell is that" he shook his head before attempting to get up. When her realised the heavy weigh on the side if his body he froze.

It seems like last night both of their sleeping positions shifted which meant that Y/N was now laying on Kenma's chest.

"Hey, wake up" he shook your arm. When he didn't see any results he shook it again but a but harder.

'How deep of a sleeper is she' he thought to himself before giving up.

He gathered up all of his strength and lifted you up by your waist. Flipping positions with you so that you were now laying underneath him.

"Kenma how long are you going to be in there?" Kuroo said from the other side of the door.

"And have you seen Y/N?" He continued.

"Did somebody say my name?" She whispered as she slowly came to.

When her visioned cleared up she saw a figure pinning her down from above.

"I'm coming in little buddy" Kuroo said as the door handle turned slowly. It was almost as if time was moving slowly.

When Kuroo entered the room he paused.

"Am I interrupting something or?" He slowly closed the door.

"I'm just gonna go" he finally closed the door and left you two in silence.

"Y/N I'm gonna have to do something real quick" he slowly removed himself from above you and Swung open the door.

"DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DIDN'T SEE ME" he ran down the corridor to Kuroo

"Wait I'll keep quiet."

"I know your lying" he said as he jumped onto Kuroo's back.

"Why are they doing this so early in the morning?" Bokuto sobbed from the corner as he took another sip of his tea.

"Where's Akaashi when you need him?" Tsuki smirked in amusement.

"The more important question is why is he under the coffee table?" Takashi asked.

"Oh Y/N can you tell us what happened?" Hinata bombarded her as soon as you left the bedroom.

"It's nothing, just them being them" she slid into the corner and watched with Hinata

"They'll be done soon" he turned to your

"So what are we gonna do today?" He asked.

"Why don't we just stay inside?" Asahi asked.

"Inside is to boring" Noya slouched into the chair with a pout on his face.

"Let's just go to the lake" Suga suggested.

"There's a lake?" Hinata queried.

"Yeah it's a few minutes down from here" Suga responded.

"Then let's go then!" He said with enthusiasm.

"You sure that we're going in the right direction?" Takashi asked.

"Well I'm just following this old map" Tsuki showed him.

"Look I see a clearing in front. " Hinata said as he ran into the clearing.

Shortly after a scream was heard coming from that direction.

"Who was that"  Asahi asked, suddenly scared.

"It's obviously Hinata, I'll go check up on him" Noya said as he also ran into the clearing.

"I don't think that it was a good idea" Asahi muttered.

"Let's just not go over there" Tsuki slowly walked away from the crowd.

"Hey, everyone's coming" Tanaka grabbed Tsuki's hand and ran to the clearing.

"I'll go with them to" Suga and the others followed behind them.

"Should we go with them?" Y/N turned to ask Kenma and Kuroo.

"I guess not" Kenma shrugged.

"Plus those idiots are going the wrong way" Kenma added.

"Really?" "

Yup, the clearing is actually down there" Kuroo finished as he pointed to another clearing.

"Oh well let's go then" Y/N headed down as the others followed behind.

When they got to the lake it was pretty clear that they were supposed to turn back but they stayed.

The fog was very thick and the floor in which they were walking on was beginning to lead deeper and deeper.

"Guys my feet are getting wet" Y/N alerted the two.

"Now that you mention it, mine do to" Kuroo realised.

Kenma quickly turned in his flash light and faced it towards the floor.

"Guys I think we walked into the lake" he alerted the others.

"Oh really, I hadn't noticed" Kuroo said with a hint of sarcasm.

"Should we go find the others?" y/N asked.

"Nah let's leave em here and go back" Kuroo started backing away.

When he felt their gaze boring through his skull he turned back.

"I was just kidding" he pouted before leading the way.

"So if they fell they should be in the lake" Y/N surmised.

"Nope, actually they'd be in the trees" Kuroo pointed to the branches overhead.

"That's why it's kinda dark"

"Maybe they got down safely, let's yell for them" Y/N suggested.

"I don't think that would be a good idea" Kenma said.

"The floor is getting pretty uneven, Y/N stay close to us" Kuroo told her but didn't get a response.

"Y/N? Where'd she go?" Kuroo asked while turning to Kenma but he soon realised that Kenma was also missing.

"That's really strange" he searched around for them but couldn't find any traces.

"This isn't funny guys" he yelled as the fog got thicker and thicker.

"Jeez, Kenma was the only one with a flashlight" He cursed to himself.

"Maybe I could-"

He unfortunately couldn't finish his sentence. Mainly because he noticed the gross figure that stood above him from the branches.

"Goddammit"
