Percy yawns as he gets out of bed, he blindly stumbles to the bathroom. After doing his business Percy grabs a container off the counter, opening it Percy cursed "Shit, I'm out of contacts" he whispered. What will camp think? Their hero, blind as a bat. He'll have to ask Apollo for some more later, but for now he'll have to wear his glasses.

Percy groaned, he didn't want to wear his glasses, he absolutely hated them, but if he doesn't wear them, he won't be able to see, so with a deep sigh he took his glasses out of their case and put them on. He looked in the mirror one last time, then looked at the time and swore. He was going to be late for breakfast. Quickly pulling on a shirt and a pair of jeans, he slid on a pair of shoes and sprinted to the dining pavilion.

When he got there, he sat down beside Nico who was sitting with Reyna, Grover and the rest of the seven. Nico kissed his cheek "Good morning" he said then quickly started shoving blue pancakes into his mouth not realizing the howl table had gone quiet.
After shoving another pancake into his mouth, finally realizing how quiet it had gotten Percy looked up

"What" he asked around the food in his mouth,

Nico was the first to react "You have glasses? Since when?" he asked confused, swallowing his food Percy answered, "Since like forever" "Then why have we never seen you wear them before" Leo asked, "I have contacts, but I ran out, so I had to wear my glasses" Percy replied, "Why do you need glasses?" Annabeth asked

"An accident that happened when I was like 3, the doctors said I'm lucky I'm not blind" Percy said.

Everyone gasped "What happened" Nico finally asked, Percy just shrugs his shoulders "I don't really remember what happened. My mom said I was playing in the kitchen and knocked a glass bowl off the table and it shattered, and glass got in my eye" "Wow, Percy I can't believe you've managed to hide this for so long" Jason said shocked,

"Well Apollo helped" Percy replied sheepishly 

"Why" Nico whispered, Percy looked at him confused "Why what?" "Why hide this" Nico asked pointing at Percy's glasses, Percy looked down "What would camp think? Their hero blind as a bat" "No one is going to judge you, Percy" Piper said smiling slightly. Everyone else nods their heads in agreement.

Nico leans in and whispers in Percy's ear "I think you look cute" he smirks as Percy tries and fails to hide his blush as he shoved another pancake into his mouth. Everyone just laughed as Percy grumbled about "Mean boyfriends", and it's "not fair", and "Traitors" Nico just kissed him on the cheek, Percy smiled slightly, this wasn't so bad he thought, maybe he should wear his glasses more often.
