Sairat - Ye dooriyan

Chapter 14 - Finally together...hamesha ke liye

A little distance away from them, someone was listening to their conversation...it was Rohit. He was fuming in jealousy.

The next day

After classes Sai and her friends went shopping to get everything she wanted for the surprise. She also went to get a dress.

After that she set up everything. She decorated the house, the bedroom and all. She decorated with flowers, rose petals, candles. It was very romantic.

She had texted Virat to know what time he would be home so that everything would be organized by then. She got dressed also. She felt a little shy in the dress because she'd never worn something like it before.

Soon she heard a knock on the door and felt both nervous and excited. She got up to open it but then realized that she didn't hear Virat's car come in, and usually he doesn't knock either. She checked through the window and he didn't reach as yet...she couldn't see who was at the door.

They knocked again. She didn't want to open the door because she already felt odd in the dress and she had no idea who it was. But they kept knocking and she got irritated. As she went to open the door, she heard Virat's car come in.

Sai: Virat sir aa gaya. Vo dekh lunga ki kaun hai dharwaaze par. Main apni surprise kharab nahi karungi.

(Virat sir has arrived. He will see who is at the door. I will not spoil my surprise.)

She quickly went to the bedroom before Virat could come in.

Virat came out of the car to meet Rohit at the door. His thoughts ran back to the day before and the way he sounded when he found out about their marriage. It had gotten him angry.

Virat: Tum yaha?

Rohit: Vo...Sai ne bulaya mujhe.

(Sai called me here)

Virat looked towards the door seeing it still closed.

Rohit: Maine knock kiya tha lekin usne answer nahi kiya...lekin mujhe sirf ye books drop karna tha

(I did knock but she didn't answer...but I just had to drop these books)

He gave Virat the books to give Sai and left. He lied about Sai calling him there and he knew if she came out he would be exposed.

Virat went inside and stood shocked. He looked around at all of the decorations and was in awe. When he finally found his voice to speak he called out to her

Virat: Sai?

Sai came out of the room in the dress and as he saw her he stood speechless. Sai was nervous but seeing his reaction gave her confidence. She slowly walked towards him. He eyes travelled up over her body in awe and she felt a little shy under his gaze.

Sai: Kaise laga mera surprise?

(How was my surprise?)

Virat took a second to process what she asked. He opened his mouth to respond but nothing came out. He was still speechless.

Sai giggled a little.

Sai: Kya hua Virat sir? Bolti band hogayi? (She asked proudly while blushing a little)

(What happened Virat sir? Have you stopped talking?)

Virat smiled shaking his head and blushing a little.
