That night they both cried. Their conversation was needed. Even though going away from each other hurt, at least the anger was no longer there.
Virat who had built up this cold version of himself finally let himself feel it all again. He let it all out and finally accepted that everything between them was truly over. Even though he tried doing that repeatedly since he left, this time it was easier. It was easier as he let himself forget about the hurt and anger. He let himself accept that she was happier without him, and that her happiness mattered more than anything. He let himself forget about all the bad things and only focused on the good memories they shared. Even though he was determined to keep the walls up around his heart and not let anyone in, so he wouldn't be hurt again, the hurt that was already there was now less. It made him feel lighter.
Sai cried and let it all out. All the anger she felt at him for leaving was no longer there. Him being away from her hurt, but not as much anymore. She also finally let herself accept that he didn't love Pakhi. She didn't understand why that made her so relieved but it did. Not that it mattered anymore because now they were no longer together, but still it did. Sai decided she would do what Virat sir wanted her to do, live her life on her own terms. She knew it would be hard, it already was, but now she felt like she wasn't alone. And not because Virat sir was in the same city as her, but because she felt like if anything ever happened, he would still be there for her...even if he said they should go separate ways, in her heart she knew he would be there.
{Sai has feelings for Virat which she buried for a long time because she didn't want to get between him and Pakhi. And now even though he's cleared up that he doesn't love Pakhi, Sai still hasn't realized those feelings yet. She's confused about what she wants. She thinks that it makes sense for her to move on in life but at the same time she isn't happy being away from him and she can't understand why. Virat on the other hand knows that he loves her and wants what's best for her, even if that means them not being together. He believes she has no feelings for him as she has said that time and time again, so he isn't willing to express his own feelings to her, especially now when she's moving on in life}
A few days later
Over the next few days Sai and Virat didn't see each other at all.
Principal's office
The principal had called Sai into his office to talk.
Principal: Ms. Sai Joshi, uss din jo tumne kiya tha un gundo ke saath...aur vo corrupt officers ke saath bhi. I have to say it's commendable.
(Ms. Sai Joshi, what you did that day with those goons...and with corrupt officers too. I have to say it's commendable.)
Sai: Thank you sir.
Principal: Tum bahut bahadur ho Sai. Bahut kam log hai to itni himmat hai. Tumhe bilkul darr nahi laga tha?
(You are very brave Sai. Very few people have so much courage. You weren't scared at all?)
Sai: Nahi sir. Mere Aaba ne mujhe darna nahi sikhaya hai. Aur vaise bhi jab sachai aur acchai ke liye lad rahi hai to darr kis baat ki?
(No sir. My father has never taught me to be afraid. And anyway, when it is fighting for truth and good, then what is there to fear?)
The principal smiled at her response
Principal: To Sai, humare aanewale award function mein, main chahta hun ki tum humare special guests ko welcome kare
(So Sai, in our upcoming award function, I want you to welcome our special guests)
Sai: Sir main? Lekin main to abhi abhi aayi iss college mein
