19: Looks Like Someone Has Let Himelf Go (Semi Eita)

Summary: After months of not seeing each other, the former and current Shiratorizawa volleyball team members have decided to hold a reunion of sorts, though no one had expected for Semi to look so different.

You might not think it because of the uncaring expression on his face, but Shirabu had been incredibly nervous to meet up with his his teammates and former teammates, it has been months since he and his teammates had last seen their former teammates and upperclassmen, and as much as he doesn't want to admit it, Shirabu had been very excited to see them again after such a long time of being apart.

It took them a long time of trying to all meet up again and not being able to do because of everyone's hectic schedules, before they had all finally been able to meet up inside of a small little bakery near Shiratorizawa, and although Shirabu isn't a big fan of sweets himself, he did think that the cute little chocolate cakes that they served had been absolutely delicious, though Tendou did claim that his were better, which he honestly doesn't doubt.

Everything had been going incredibly well, even if they had to wait for a bit for everyone to show up, but the moment that Semi had stepped through the door it was like the whole mood had dropped as all eyes had been immediately on him, who would've thought that out of all of the former members of the Shiratorizawa volleyball team that had decided to quit volleyball, Semi had ended up being the one to gain so much weight.

They could hardly recognize him, it was like they had been looking at a completely different person entirely, none of them knew what to think or say at that moment, well all except the ever so energetic Tendou, who had decided to tease Semi about it quite a bit by saying things like 'You've grown quite a bit since graduation.' and 'It seems like your appetite has finally caught up to you." He teased as he patted Semi's round belly.

And although no one aside from Tendou, whose words had ended up making Semi laugh nervously at him, no one else had said anything about it, but it was clear that there wasn't a single person that hadn't been paying attention to it, they all just didn't say anything because they didn't want to sound mean, but now that both he and Semi were standing of to the side, away from everyone else, Shirabu no longer cared about not saying anything mean.

"You got fat." Shirabu said to Semi out of the blue without any prior warning, not caring about how mean rude he ended up sounding, the shock of seeing his former teammate's once athletic looking body now covered in nothing but thick layers of fat made every last bit of tact leave him.

Semi choked on the donuts he had been in the middle of eating the moment he heard the words that came out of Shirabu's mouth, which caused the fat on his belly to jiggle. "Nice to see you again too, Kenjirou" He took another bite from the donut he was eating after he said that like he hadn't just almost suffocated because of it. "Say, did you greet everyone in such a rude manner?"

Shirabu just shrugged as he looked away from his former teammate. "Just calling it like I see it." He had never been the type to beat around the bush like their other teammates, especially not when it came to his hot headed former upperclassmen, no matter how rude it ended up making him sound.

Semi didn't say anything in response as he just continued devouring the donuts he had bought. "But seriously what happened." Shirabu said as he looked back over at the fat man. "You hadn't gained any weight when we last saw each other." Shirabu could still clearly remember Semi being as lean and muscular as he used to be back in highschool.

Semi just calmly finished eating the donut he was in the middle of eating before answering. "Correction, I did gain weight back then, it just wasn't as noticeable as it is now." He could still clearly remember how much he had been freaking out after he had weighed himself two days before leaving for college. "Back then I had already gained about 15 pounds."
