"Yes, Monse! I am almost there. Now stop calling me and just wait for my car" I chuckled, trying to pay attention but the teenagers on the other end were all freaking out.

"Oh my god. I think I hear her car, Monse does my hair look good?" Ruby panicked. I could hear him through Monse's phone and I nearly choked trying so hard not to laugh.

"Ruby" she groaned before I heard her gasp. "I see you!" She yelled hanging up the phone and I chuckled.

Pulling into the driveway, careful not to hit the jumping teenagers. The neighbors all stared at them smiling. It was a small neighborhood, everyone knew everything. Chances are half of them knew I was coming home.

"Maddy!" Monse screamed nearly knocking me over in a hug as I closed my car door.

I wrapped my arms protectively around my sister. Tears slowly spilling out of my eyes, damn pregnancy hormones. I swear. Chances are, if I wasn't pregnant I still would have cried. I missed my damn sister.

"Hermana" I cried, holding her even tighter. The exact thing I have been waiting for during that 18-hour drive. What should have been 16 but my pregnancy brain and bladder said hell no.

I pulled away smiling at the three teenagers standing behind me. "Hola chicos" I smiled brightly pulling the three of them in a hug. "Hi, Mads" Cesar smiled. "How have you been?!" I asked.

Cesar just shrugged and I sighed. It must be hard. I know that kid misses his brother.

I lightly rubbed my belly. I wasn't necessarily showing just yet, but I could feel it. It's gonna be soon.

The boys helped me get my bags. I quote, "it is not good for a pregnant woman to do all the heavy lifting," ruby said. He made sure I didn't touch anything and insisted I go inside and get a snack. That kid is crazy sweet, whatever girl he gets one day is gonna be hella lucky.

Once we were all inside Ruby forced me to sit on the couch. "Monse show me where to put her bags" Ruby instructed, struggling to hold them all himself. I only chuckled and watched as he struggled, even more, to walk down the hallways nearly dropping everything as he tried.

"How are you? Jamal" I smiled over at the boy sitting on the other side of the couch. "Well if I'm being honest. I feel poor and I really could use an extra $50,000." He said nonchalantly. I raised an eyebrow at him and he just shook his head. "You are not seriously still talking about rollerworld!" Monse exclaimed, dragging her hand down her face. "Enough with the rollerworld" she said through gritted teeth, making me laugh.

"Maddy, do you want anything to drink?" Monse asked, Ruby instantly cut in, coming around the corner from the hallway. "I'll get it" he smiled walking to the fridge and pulling out a water.

"Thank you, Ruby" I chuckled, smiling up at the boy. He smiled back at me, proud of himself for helping.

"Wanna come with us?" Monse asked pointing towards the door. I shrugged, not really sure where they were going but what did I really have to do. Absolutely nothing. Besides, I missed walking through the streets of freeridge. It's something Jose, Spooky, and I would do all the time.

I stood up, slipping on my vans and following the kids out of the house. I keep calling them kids but they aren't even that much younger than I am. I just feel like I had watched them grow up, Hell I was at that weird age where I was just old enough to watch these fools at 13.

"Come here" Ruby mumbled, walking along the fence where the other side held a senior party. I probably knew half of them considering I would have graduated a year ahead of them. We would have gone to school together.
