Birthday Drama

Outlaw and I have been talking for 3 months now but we still have'nt made it official yet, and with my 18th birthday around the corner, i am ready to make him mine. I wish that we were official so that he could help plan my party but hey, i won't pressure him.

Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! I am so excited to go out and have fun with my girls and Outlaw tonight. I got up early this morning just to go to the beauty salon and get my hair done and my nails. I explained to my stylist how i wanted my hair done and she surely amazed me. She did a cap (28 pieces), short on one side long on the next side with a bang and the color of the hair was maroon and black, I Loved It!! I got my nails done simple, they were short and frenched tipped with pink an white airbrush.

After i left the beauty salon, i went shopping for my bday outfit, cause i am the birthday girl, i want to look fly as $h!+, especially if Outlaws gonna be there!!

I came back home to start preparing for tonight. I saw a few more of my friends and i reminded them about the party. I have'nt seen Outlaw all day and i am starting to get worried because i really want to spend my special night with him. Five hours has gone by, and still no sign of Outlaw, and i don't even know if he has a phone so i could call him. I Went inside to get a snack because I was starting to get hungry. I went in the kitchen an looked in the fridge, i stood in front of the fridge just staring beacuse my mind was on Outlaw, wondering where he was and if I was gonna see him before i left to go out. Finally i grabbed a gatorade and a slice of overnight pizza and walked back outside. As i took a few steps down the stairs to sit and eat, a boy i used to talked to before i met Outlaw came in my yard and stood at the bottom of the stairs.

Mojo- "how it go?"

Vashti- "everything cool"

Mojo-"I heard about your party tonight"

Vashti-"and....your point?"

Mojo-"how come you ain't invite me"

Vashti-"excuse me? i didn't want to, anything else?"

Mojo-"no ma, all is jah"!

After Mojo left, Outlaw pulled up, my heart skipped a beat when i saw him, i felt butterflies in my stomach as he approached me. He had on a white t-shirt and a short black dickies pants. He looked as if he had just come from work. He looked very tired, almost as if he had'nt slept lastnight.

Outlaw-"what you sayin baby girl?"

Vashti-"i good, i ain't see you all day, whats up"?

Outlaw-"i was at work, i so tired right now, oh happy birthday by the way"

Vashti-"thanks, thought you forgot, you coming to my party tonight?"

Outlaw-"of course, you know i would'nt do you like that, i gatta go, i gin see you later okay"

Vashti-"iight, the party starts at 10pm, at Bamboo"

Outlaw-"okay i know where that is"...later

Vashti-"k"

After Outlaw left, my cousin (Go-go) and my aunty (Sweets) came to pick me up.

Vashti-"mummy,i gone"

Louise-"okay be back by 12!!"

I did'nt say anything. Was she really expecting me to come home at 12am on my 18th birthday? lol NEVER!!

I jumped in the car and we took off. We pulled up at my aunts place and went inside to start getting ready. As i closed the door, we heard a knock on the front door. It was Shellz, she came to get ready and ride with us. After we got ready, GoGo's boyfriend stopped by to ask where the party was gonna be, I told him and then i asked him to take me through the ghetto to get something to blow (smoke) before we go. After i got my smokes, He dropped us back to my aunts place and then we left to go to the club.
