It Started with A Painting

Chapter 2

After a few minutes after they looked at each other, Alex looked over to see someone stealing her bike and said, "hey, stop', as she ran past Mark, it was too late, and soon her sketchbook fell out of her bag on the ground. Then soon as Alex was picking up her sketch and, Mark started helping to pick them up from the floor said ''here, let me help you" as he picked a few more up and gave them to Alex said, "thanks" as she put loose sketches in a file into her bag.

Mark watched her walk away from him, so he walked toward Alex and said, "Hey if you want, I can drive you",  he slowed waiting for her until a few minutes after, Alex let him drive her back to the dorms.  After they arrive in his car, they unlock the door, open it for Alex, and close it.

After Mark turned the engine back on, as Mark was driving, he looked over to her, whose eyes were sparkling like stars on a clear night and said, "so what your name" as Alex looked away from the window and toward Mark, said ",It's Alex Heart," as she looked away from him and back to the window. Then after an awkward silence in the car,  Alex soon broke the silence by saying, "pull over here,'' as Mark pulled the car right in front of the dorm's front doors.

Alex opened her door, got out of the car, and closed the door. As Alex was walking away from the vehicle Mark rolled down the window, shouting, "you want to get coffee sometime" as she turned around and walked back to Mar answered, "sure would like that" Mark smiled and grabbed a piece of paper also a pen and write down his number for Alex said "here my number to call me also my name is Mark', as Alex smile and gave him her number.

Soon after that, Alex watched Mark drive off from the dorms, and she headed inside. Then after walking through the hallway as made to the dorm, she grabs her dorm's key out of her bag. Then after putting her key in the locket and turning to the right to unlock the door. Alex opened the door and placed her purse on the ground by her bed. She also sat by the deck, but soon, the dorm above her started playing loud music. Alex wants peace quietly for just one minute. The door opens again to her roommate Sara kissing one of her boyfriend's goodnights, closing the door, and crashing on her bed.

Alex turned her chair to Sara and said, "let me guess, you're dating Luke and Chad at the same time" Sara slowly sat up on the bed and said, "yeah, it's fun to have two guys and nobody getting hurt or worse,'' as she took her shoes off and grabbed the magazine off the ground. Alex turned back to the desk, grabbed her phone, put Mark's number on her phone, and sent a text message to him.

Hours later, after he dropped Alex off at the dorms. Then soon, he pulled up into a garage and turned off the engine. Soon got out of the car, walked toward the door, and headed up the stairs. Soon as he made it to the kitchen, Mark placed the car key on the countertop, opened the cupboard to grab a glass, and placed it on the table. Mark walks toward the fridge and opens it, holding the milk out of the refrigerator. Mark opens the milk and pours it into the glass, then puts the milk back in the fridge.

Mark grabbed his glass of milk, walked down the hallway, and opened the last door at the end. I opened the door to the music room with a microphone set up, which was not used at all.  After placing the glass on a small table and sitting down started to write down song lyrics "Her eyes spark like stars at night.

"Everyone watch light as it flashes by."

"Though the night,"

Then after he finished writing the lyrics and soon his phone rang. Mark put down the pen, picked up the phone, and saw that Alex had sent a message that said, "thanks" mark smiled and lay back in the chair.
