Alex heads back to her father's house, runs up the stair, walk toward her bedroom, and locks the door behind her. She placed her bag down on the ground unit. She saw the note on the mirror that said: "had gone back home to feed their cat love Chloe" she placed the message on the table but saw the black eye in the mirror, so look away from the mirror.

Then she turned on the music loud enough on the spark, started work back on the painting, and tried to get it done before the end week. Alex tried to get connected to Mark or her brother, but both went straight vocal mail, so she just left a text for her brother because she couldn't go through the deal with her father.

Alex went back to the zone with her panting.

A few hours pass at Rumour's city magazine.

Cameron was passed out on his desk, and soon, a pile of paper slammed on the deck, waking up from it. "I will work on this pile of paper," Cameron said as he watched his boss walk away. He opens the file on top of the pile to see Mark and Mr. King fighting about something or someone.

Soon he closed the file and placed them in his bag. Know one person, walk toward the elevator and press the down button. The elevator's door opened; he entered the elevator, pressed the main floor button, and the door closed.

Cameron fixes his hair as it lows, going down until it reaches the main floor. Cameron heads out of the elevator, walks out of the building, stops at flowers, and decides to get a few beautiful red roses for Angel.

Then Cameron finally made it to the hospital and walked up the stairs to the five-floor. The door, walk toward Angle's hospital room but stop could hear"you are a careless bitch doing something stupid to your carrier," Mr. King shouted at his daughter.

"You never care about me, only live your money," Angel said, wiping away her tears and watching her father walk out the door. Cameron moved away from the door, placing the magazine over his face just as Mr. King walked by.

Soon he opened the door and placed the bouquet on her table "hey, sorry it's late," he said as he touched her hands. Angle smiled at Cameron and looked down at the bouquet "you are so sweet. It's fine you are here as she slowly sat up on the bed.

"Yeah, I want your help with a picture of your brother and father," Cameron said, putting out the file on her lap. Angles looking at the photos, started to think back to when this fight happened.

Flashback to four-year-old ago at the cemetery

Angle, with her black colour hair, also had a lot of piercing at seventeen, looking down at her mother's grave. "Make sense you show up drunk on this day," Mark said to his father.

"You don't know anything, son, because it's your fault that your mother is dead," Mr. King said as he pushed him. Soon enough, the two of them figure out right in front of mother's grave and Angel.

End of flashback

Angle wiped away her tears, looked at Cameron, and said, "it was a fight at my mom's funeral as she gave back the files to him. "Thanks, but it's your mother's anniversary death coming up' Cameron asked, worried Angel. "Yeah, it's not far. Could you help me with your stories," she said,d moving her hand on his arm.

He sat beside the bed, pulled out his laptop, and bidder "let's get to work on it," Cameron said, smiling at Angel.

Mark was tired of looking at the whiteboard with only the time of death and pictures of crime scenes. "Hey Mark, my ex just texted me that Cameron showed up at the hospital," Steve said, showing the image of Angle and Cameron flirting.

Mark stops at the picture showing the fight with his father at his mother's funeral. "Mark, you ok? It's like you've seen a ghost," Steve said as he took the phone from him. He walked toward the table, opened the whisky, and poured a glass. Josh looks at the picture on the phone and realizes why Mark is acting like he's seen a ghost. "It was the day of the mother's funeral, but his father didn't care at all about her death," Josh said.

Mark slammed the glass down on the table in anger at him "he killed her, he shouted. Mark took the whisky in his hand and sat on the stairs. Soon Steve and Josh sat opposite Mark on the stairs and gave him some compassion.

"Get try to figure out the truth about your mother's death. It would help you and Angel," Josh said as Mark nodded his head. "Let's dig deeper," Mark said as he got from the stair and placed the whisky on the side table.

Alex finally took off her pants after a troubled day from the meeting with her father.

She turns down the station, slowly opens the door, and pecks her head to see if her father is there. Soon she pulled her head from peeking and closed the door. Alex pulled out her suitcase from under the bed and started packing everything.

After packing her suitcase and a few other bags, she slowly and quickly carried her bags down the stairs and walked toward the front door closing it behind her. Alex was thinking about staying with her mother but realized that would be the first place he would look.

After a few minutes of figuring out where to crash from her father, Alex walked toward the front door and rang the bell until Mark answered his door to see Alex, who had just gone through hell. "Hey, I was going to call you but this is a nice surprise," Mark said as he smiled, letting through the door and closing the door after she got her bag in.

"Yeah, I just miss you all day," she answered as she tried to hide her black eye with her hair. Josh took a ruler and moved her hair but decided to wait until she was ready. "Aww, you are cute also with the bags," Mark said, pointing at her bags. Alex took a breath. "I need a place to crash until my father calms down," she said.

She took a deep breath, moved her hair away from her eye, and showed her black eye. Josh walked toward her closer to see the black eye 'why did father do this" Josh asked. "Just because I told him I wouldn't break up with Mark'' she answers. Josh punched the wall.

Alex walked over to the whiteboard 'What with the board" she asked a question. Mark pushed the board away. "It's nothing besides you need some rest," Mark said as he shoved her toward the guest bedroom and helped with her bags. Soon,  Mark opened the guest bedroom door "you can stay alone as you need; besides, it's better when you are here," he said as he brushes her face with his hand.

"I know I could count on you," Alex said as she took his hand and placed it on her cheek. "You know your father's wedding is tomorrow evening, and you and I go together, not just Mark and Alex," she said, smiling at him. Mark pulled her into a kiss "you are amazon; that's why I love you," Mark said as he smiled down at Alex.

It was a quiet evening in the central park; the lamppost was lit. Chloe stood by the side of the bridge and looked toward the city. "This beautiful night' she said as it felt like a stop. Soon, Scott wrapped his arm around her waist "yeah, you are right about it," he said as he placed his head on her shoulder and enjoyed the view.
