It Started with A Painting

Chapter 10

They look at coffee's board, Mark looks at Alex said "I will pay for a drink beside it better than any crazy party", as Alex smile with a hint of blush in her checks said "Ok, just Chai latte also your right this much better", as she headed away from him to find a table for two them.

Mark waited for ten minutes for coffee to start thinking that they can have a normal dating life. Then soon the coffee was ready so he placed lids on them and took them over to Alex.

After he placed the coffee down on the table and sat down across from Alex. Mark turn off the phone for now and said "I'm sorry that been a dick at Josh's party", as Alex took a sip of her latte replied back "It fine beside we all make mistakes",

Mark feels like his chest was lifted from Alex being so understanding, so he moves his hand across the table to her hand but Alex's friend shows up out of the blue.

Chole and Steve pull up a chair at the table and say "so this is Mark", as Chloe bites her lips and turns back to Alex and says "you got so lucky" as Alex turns red in her face.

Steve felt bad that they had been rude on their date and said "Chloe let Alex leave her date" as they put chairs back and slowly walked away from them. Alex looked up at Mark still with a pinky brushing face and said "sorry about that, Steve and Chloe are sometimes a pain ass but good friends" as Mark smiled and said " It's all good besides I think you like me", as they laugh together from that joke.

Then after finishing their coffee they decided to continue walking down the street together. Mark started walking beside her and finally got a hold of her hand. They walk for hours in the city not knowing the time but Mark stops to see the paparazzi that start running toward them. Mark pulled Alex into the alleyway trying to find a way from the paparazzi but Alex pulled out her sunglasses and said "here put them on, follow me", as he placed them on, started following her down the alleyway.

Then Alex looked both ways to check if it was clear and said "we are here", as Mark took off the sunglasses to see a beautiful beach that was right in front of him. Alex sat down on the golden sand with her shoes. Mark sat down beside her and said "wow, as he took his shoes.

"Yeah it only places me with my dad,'' Alex said with her head on his shoulder. Mark looked at Alex placing his hand on her neck and slowly moved toward her lips as their lips were closer to touch but Mark's phone was ringing crazy in his jacket.

After he grabbed his phone out of the jacket, answered it, and heard "where the hell are you!" as Angle was sitting at a table with an empty glass. Mark look around him and replied back "beach why", as Angle throws empty glass at the wall and said " my fuck album party that drop at midnight", as she hung up on the phone.

Mark put his shoes back and looked at Alex and said "I really enjoy this but need to go before I'm fucked death", as Alex follows him back to his car.

Alex as he got in the car, started the engine, and tapped the window. Mark rolled down the window and she said "you do anything on Thursday night', as Mark smiled at her and said yeah sure, I will text you later", as he drove off to Angle's album party.

Cameron was more surprised to see Alex with Mark of all people but felt bad about what was going to happen next for her. Cameron sent an email to his boss of the picture of them walking together and other pictures looking like a couple for the magazine.
