Chapter 24

Alex held down on her wrists, waiting for an ambulance but heard someone walking in the hallway "hello," she said, no reply back but felt a hand on her shoulder. He moved away from the person and fell to the floor "really, Alex, always using violence," Cameron said, slowly getting back on his feet.

'I'm so sorry, Cameron, need your help please,'' Alex said with tears in her eyes, frms tired, and holding pressure on both of her. "What happened here?'' Cameron asked, slowly placing his hand on the jacket, taking over for Alex.

'I didn't know I found her like this, Alex answered, looking down at her hand and seeing blood but soon heard the ambulance at the front door, so she ran toward the front door. "Miss are you hurt," the paramedic asked, seeing the blood on her hands and shirt "no, I'm fine, but my friend is not '' she answered, leading them to the bathroom. The paramedics went to work and told Angel, "She has a weak plus; we need to move her now," the second paramedic said, carrying full, placing Angel on the backboard.

Then they slowly took Angel out of the house and into a careful place in the back of the ambulance. "I will go with her; I'll meet there," AI'llaid as she was getting in the around ,they drove off to the hospital. Soon after they arrive at the hospital, the paramedic pulls her out, and the ambulance follows them into the er "wait here. Someone will talk after the surgery,' one paramedic said, Ke, ep Alex from the door.

Alex headed to the waiting area to see Cameron on his laptop; she sat beside him "hey, how is she doing?" he asked, closing his laptop. Alex took a breath to look down at her bloody hand and answered, "I don't knoanswanswereds. It's my fault," hiding her face in her hands. "It is not your fault; besides, it was here choice to do this," he said; she slowly lifted her head from her hands "yeah, you are right about that," Alex said, not feeling responsible.

Alex decided to call Mark and tell him what was going on with his sister, slowly reaching for her cell phone in her jean pocket.

Mark, Josh, Steve, and Chloe were having a few drinhadeve debuted his fashion line. "Chloe, let's say to get over a guy is to drink your feeling away also; it works for me, ma; times," Josh said, pushing the drink toward her.

Chloe grabbed the drink off the table and just drank the whole thing in one sip "get some shots over here now," Chloe said as walking toward the bartender to get the shots. Soon Mark's phone started ringing in his jacket; he pulled it out to see that it was Alex calling him.

He answered the phone to hear her breath. " I need to come to the hospital," she said, wiping away her tears, and he walked away from the group. "Why do I need to go to the hospital," he asked Alex; she breathedth and answered back, "It's Angel; she cut her wrists" Mark dropped his phone on the floor and grabbed his jacketheadingad from the club. Josh picked up his phone and looked over at Steve and Chloe, who were having a good time, so he ran to catch up with Mark.

'Hey, why leave the party so soon '' Josh asked, getting into his friend's car. "It's Angle. She cured him; now we are meeting; now at the hospital,'' answered back to Josh, driving as fast as he could to the hospital.

Alex walks toward the doctor who just came out of Angle's surgery "we stopped the bleeding,  but she needs to have a blood transfusion because she lost quite a lot of blood" Alex feels a bit better than if she is still alive. "I want to donate my blood for her if possible," Alex asked. The doctor nodded her head "yeah, you can see if you are a match' the doctor replied , showing Alex's blood labs.

Soon Mark and Josh came running into the hospital to the waiting area to find Cameron; he said Angle is ok, but she needs a blood transfusion" Mark felt his heart out of his chest.

Josh felt terrible that this happened and said, " I will donate my blood for Angle. Besides guessing what my sister did," Josh said, pointing at his sister. She walked closer to them and looked at Mark with red eyes. 'I'm sorry, I should have been there early for Angle,' she said.

Mark took his hand, wiped away her tears from her eye, and looked over at Cameron and Josh "let go see Angel in her hospital room," Cameron said; like two, they walked away to give two of them to talk alone.

"I want to start by saying sorry for breaking my word about your brother, I was a drunk idiot,  but I didn't lose you," Mark said, looking straight into her eyes and hands around her neck. Alex smiled, placed her hand over his, and said, "you are not going to lose me because I'm still mad at you but love you at the same time feel, ing butterflies through her body.

Mark slowly placed his lips against her lips and pulled away.   "I love you too, Alex," he said; she pulled him in for a passionate kiss. After three minutes of a passionate kiss ", I think we should check on your sister beside you and keep an eye on Camera' she said, slipping away a smile and walking away.

Mark placed his arm around her head to room 318 to see Cameron sitting close to Angel. "Hey brother," Angle said as she did not move her arm to not to close the stitches should talk to me; I don't want this to happen again," Mark said, angry and concerned about his sister.

"Only happens because of antidepressant pills, then after I stopped taking them, I was fine until you spilled the tea about my ex-boyfriend," Angel said as she tried to get her brother off her back.

Josh's phone started beeping, so he pulled it out from his jacket to see the drunken picture of Steve going a little bit too far. "Hey, I need to take care of a drunk person, . Just take care of it; talk to you guys later," Josh said as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Cameron could feel the tension between Mark and Angel, so he slowly got up from the chair. "Angel,  I will talk to you later," he said, slowly walking away, but Angel grabbed his hand "thank you, but please don't leave me," Angel said.

Cameron didn't want to let go of her hand but looked at her brother and said, "I need to head back to work so that I will visit you later," Cameron said as he let go of her hand. Cameron walks into the room.

"I think it best for you to stay in the hospital for a week and also take your antidepressant pills' ' Mark said, filling out a medic sheet on the table at the end of the bed. Angel turns her body right off the bed and answers, "yeah, sure, besides dad, think work on some songs' as Mark walks out of the room with Alex closing behind her.

'Hey, listen to me, you had to do what was best for your sister; I need to see my sister,' Alex said as she walked away from Mark. He watched her walk away and couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. Soon the phone started ringing in his jacket. He grabbed the phone out of his coat and answered 'hello" as loud music could near Josh. "I need help with Steve. Please hurry," he said, looking over at Steve, who danced on a pole like a crazy person.

"Ok, I will be there as fast I can," Mark replied, bare,l y hearing Josh, so he hung up on the phone. Josh pulls Steve off the pole, places his arm over his shoulder, and walks him out of the club through the front door.

Slowly place Steve against the wall "where did Chloe go off to'' Josh asked, as Steve started laughing "she was making out with Scott, who up after you and Mark left," Steve answered.

'Serious after he left her heartbroken after the fashion show? Just wow," Josh said, feeling shocked about it. "Yeah, I'm happy you are coming back to me," Steve said, slowly placing his hand on his neck and pulling his lips toward his lips but was interrupted by Mark pulling up in his car.

"Guess it's your guy's lucky day that they show up to save your ass," Mark said as Josh helped Josh put Steve in the backseat of the car. Then Mark started up the engine pull out from the club "thanks, man, I owe you one," Josh said, looking back at Steve.

"I was you can owe me back besides you will help me by solving my mother's death," Mark answered Josh. Josh nodded his head; Mark smiled, driving back to his house to get work on it.

Chloe feels a severe headache from drinking and slowly sits on the bed but realizes that she had sex with Scott. She quietly got up from the bed, grabbed her clothes, put them back on, and walked toward the front door.

Chloe walks down the street until she sees Alex at the cemetery's doors and quickly remembers that today is the anniversary of her sister's death.
