Madhu waited for RK a little more anxiously than usual.
She had to tell him this. Every 5 minutes she would look
at the door or the clock. As soon as she heard the click
of the door her face brightened. RK entered the door.
He looked tired so Madhu thought it best not to jump at
him with her blabbering. RK saw her and gave a bright
smile.
"How come you are early these days?" He asked
pleased at the fact that he is able to see Madhu daily
after the hectic drive. He felt all his tiredness vapourize
seeing the smile on her face.
"Ohh.. nothing big... you come sit..." she said as she
handed him a glass if water.
He drank water and saw the coffee kept ready for him
along with snacks. He was very hungry for sure. He
helped himself and ate while Madhu watched him
restlessly to finish. RK noticed the anxious expression
on her face.
"What?" He asked confused.
"nothing" she shrugged.
"Do you want to say something?" He asked.
"You eat first.. you are tired.." Madhu said in a tone
that totally contradicted her own words.
"No tell me. I can hear while i eat..." he said smiling at
the his childish wife.
"Okay so listen" she said as her eyes went wide. "I met
that bitch today..."
"Whoah... which bitch?" He asked amused at her..
"Arey that bitch... That Dipali Bhatia..." she said
making a disgusted face. "ewww... saying the name
just makes me feel like pests crawling over me" she
said almost shivering which made RK break into a
laugh.
"Ohh really... where did you meet her..?" He asked
amused at her behaviour.
"She came to my jewellery store... To order WEDDING
RING" she rolled her eyes.
"Ohh great... she is getting married.." RK said taking a
bite of the toast.
"Hah! great.." Madhu said frustrated. "Anyways... you
know my boss called me to design her ring. And i
swear when she saw me her face went pale..." Madhu
recollected Dipali's reaction on seeing her.
"She looked dreaded man... i loved it... she must have
remembered that punch on her nose..." Madhu said
laughing proudly.
RK shook his head at her silliness as he laughed.
"So you are designing her ring...?" He asked her while
biting the toast.
"No way... I refused my boss..." Madhu said as if it was
