the late night moon shines brightly through the gaps in the curtain as p/n and i lay in bed telling dumb jokes.
"BAHAHAHA" i burst out laughing. "ahaha that was a good one, wasn't it?" p/n says laughing. "okay i have an even better joke," i say struggling to catch my breath from all of the laughter. "what do you call a deer with no eyes?" i ask p/n. he shrugs. "no eye deer," i say as p/n and i burst out laughing once again.
"alright, alright, i think i have an even better one babe," p/n says. "if i were you i wouldn't even attempt to top my hilarious jokes," i say cockily. "we shall see, we shall see," p/n says. "okay, here it is: did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? great food, no atmosphere," p/n says barely being able to finish his joke before breaking out laughing. i can't help but laugh heartily too.
we both calm down a little and manage to catch our breath. "what time is it?" i ask. "1:30am," p/n says looking at the clock. "we're probably annoying the crap out of our neighbours," i say giggling. "that's for sure," p/n replies. i sigh and roll onto my back as p/n does the same.
a few silent moments pass and i turn to look at p/n. he looks back at me and starts wiggling his eyebrows up and down. we both crack up laughing. my stomach starts to hurt as the laughter continues. then all of a sudden i snort. p/n laughs the hardest i've ever seen him laugh as i join in laughing too. "woo ahahah i- i can't- i can't breathe," i say clutching my sore stomach. "man that was hilarious," p/n giggles. "i don't think i've ever laughed that hard in my life," i say, still struggling for breath.
we both sigh once again and look away. slowly we turn our heads to look at each other. we both burst out laughing. here we go again.
