Chapter 46

In Shakhi's room, Shaurya is getting ready for the office and Anokhi is slowly walking around in the room as Pooja has asked her to take slow walks. Just then Ansh crawls into their room and sits near Shaurya's feet.

Shaurya: ansh, your chachu is busy right now. Go to your chachi.

Ansh as if understood Shaurya and started crawling behind Anokhi as she was walking. Anokhi stopped walking and stood near the bed. Ansh too stopped and raised his arms asking Anokhi to pick him up. Anokhi bends down to pick him but screams in pain. Ansh cries due to the sudden scream. Shaurya turns around to see Anokhi holding her stomach and crying. All other family members come hearing Ansh and Anokhi crying.

Shaurya: Anokhi what happened?

Nimi: I guess di is having labour pain.

Shaurya: Parth bring the car, we need to take her to the hospital. Nimi please call pooja and tell her about this.

Nimi: ok bhaiya.

They all leave for the hospital. On the way Anokhi is crying in pain. Shaurya is caressing her forehead while holding her hand. He has tears in his eyes while he tries to calm her down. They reach the hospital and pooja immediately takes Anokhi to OT.

Aastha: Shaurya how did all this happen???

Shaurya: I don't know maa. I was getting ready and ansh came in. He then went to Anokhi as she was walking around. Anokhi might have tried to pick him up and I guess that caused the pain and ansh was frightened because of her scream.

Pooja(coming out of OT): jiju you please sign this consent form.

Shaurya: what consent is this?

Pooja: jiju it's just a formality. Please trust me.

Aastha: is Anokhi fine, Pooja??

Pooja: yes maaji she is fine. Just her BP is a bit low but she will be fine. Jiju you sign this.

Shaurya signs it and Pooja goes back. Shaurya is walking to and fro outside the OT praying for Anokhi and his child. Just then Pooja comes out and Shaurya looks at her with questioning eyes. In the meantime Bhalla family has arrived as well.

Pooja: jiju relax they all are fine.

Shaurya(heaving a sigh of relief): thankyou so much Pooja. Can I meet her?

Maa/ Mummy: all?

Pooja: actually aunty I haven't told this any of you not even Anokhi. Only I knew this.

Shaurya: what is it Pooja??

Pooja: jiju Anokhi was pregnant with twins. She has given birth to a boy and a girl.

Shagun: Pooja are you telling the truth.

Pooja: yes aunty now two, two kids will call you nani😍😍😍

Shaurya: thankyou Pooja for this. Thanks a lot. Can I meet them.

Pooja: Anokhi is still unconscious and the babies have been sent for some tests since it was a premature delivery. So.

Aastha: are my kids fine??

Pooja: yes maaji they are fine. You don't worry. We will shift Anokhi in the ward and the babies will be kept their only.

Anokhi is shifted to the ward and the babies are kept in the cradle. All the family members go to meet them. After that Shaurya asks them to go home as they might be tired and he will stay back. All leave and Shaurya enters the ward. He first goes to Anokhi and kisses her forehead. He then proceeds to his babies and cries seeing them. He kisses both their foreheads and goes to sit near Anokhi.
