Komui's Office

"Welcome back!", he greeted in a high tone. Eleanor stepped back feeling uneasy with the atmosphere. It is filled with tension but the scientist has forced smiles plastered on their faces. "I see. You successfully synchronized", Komui patted her shoulders. "You seem extra relieved", Eleanor noticed. Komui whined.

"The truth is", Johnny tried to open his mouth but Reever covered it. "You must be tired from your journey. Jerry is excited to let you taste his new jelly", Reever gently pushed the lady outside.

They all sighed. "Johnny!", they all said in unison. "She must know about it since she's the holder of the innocence", Johnny tried to justify his action. Komui dropped his hand on Johnny's shoulder. "I understand that as Johnny. It's just that everything is happening so fast for her", Komui gave a weak smile.

Cafeteria

Eleanor looked around and saw Marie eating with some finders. "Marie", Eleanor ran to his side. "Welcome back, Eleanor. How was your mission?", Marie allowed her to sit beside him. "It was rather an exciting one. Did you also just arrive from a mission?", Eleanor was looking for someone. "Kanda is taking a rest. He'll be dispatch for another mission tomorrow morning", Marie informed. "I wasn't...", Eleanor stopped when Marie offered a piece of cookie.

"Jerry really cooks well, doesn't he?", a finder offered tea. Eleanor nodded. Soon, they swarm over the table. They introduced themselves. "My apologies, I'm not good with memorizing names", Eleanor nervously laughed. "It's been a while since we have a new female exorcist. Pardon these lads. I hope you aren't offended", Devon apologized. "It's a pleasure to meet new people. Also, thank you for supporting the Order", Eleanor stood and spread her dress before bowing. The finders found themselves crying.

"Why are you guys crying?", Devon sighed. "You are also crying, Mr. Devon", Touma chuckled. They all teased each other and noise filled the cafeteria. Komui and the science department peeked and saw the lady in the middle of the crowd. "I can't bring myself to tell her", Reever face-palmed. "Then, since Johnny wanted to, he will do the honor of doing so", Komui gave a thumbs up to the lad with eyeglasses. "You told me that we're going to delay it", Johnny whined. "Did I?", Komui ran away.

Herbarium

Eleanor was curious about the green spot on the blueprint of the map. She saw familiar plants that her mother grows in their own herbarium. The scent of the mint also made her feel nostalgic. It is almost calling her home.

HOME.

Hatred, Anger, Pain.

Her head felt a sharp pain. "Are you alright?", Johnny assisted her to stand. "Johnny. Do you have something to do with these plants?", Eleanor tried to ignore the pain. "Occasionally but most of the plants here are taken care of by Kanda", he revealed. Eleanor was beyond belief. "Surprised? Kanda doesn't usually interact with people aside from Marie. I guess he spends more time with these plants than people here in the Order", Johnny shrugged. For some reason, he felt a cold gust of wind pass by.

"Do you like it here?", Eleanor saw a wooden chair and sat down. She invited Johnny as well and he did. "We're dying here, every day. There's so much work to do. Chief won't cut us some slack and sometimes he does things that call our attention. We tend to fix the mess he leaves behind. Tap and I feel like we can go on a sleeping marathon given the chance", Johnny went on complaining. "That's tough on you", Eleanor felt bad for him. "But, there's no other place like home", Johnny smiled widely making Eleanor savor the atmosphere. "I also like it here. It's been just a few days but it felt very warm that you can't help to keep crawling back", Eleanor looked at her arm. "You have a tattoo?", Johnny doesn't remember her having it before.
