Chapter 2: Paradise

It felt like several hours before the siblings manage to reach the side walls of Maria where they met up with one of Lykan's contact. Sure enough, Lykan's spies had served him well as they were able to slip the group into Shiganshina where there was a small house near the middle of town. It was definitely smaller than their old home from the clan but was big enough to sustain them.

The group then slowly started to settle in by unpacking as well as them splitting off to do their own tasks. Meisner and Melissa were already gone to buy supplies as well find out more about the military program. Viper felt that he should start with gathering intel as well as contact his messenger to give his reports back to Lykan. Lastly, Chase had decided that he wanted to socialize with the people around him and brought Kiara along with him.

The atmosphere of their new home was quite lively which the group loved. The people were very friendly and gladly told them about the walls. Although there were a few bad apples that linger around but someone like Chase and Kiara can handle them quite easily. Although both are them are the youngest in the family, Lykan had train Chase the same way he was trained by their father. Harshly, but Chase was much more lenient with Kiara. Not only the thugs but there were also religious nutjobs that believed that the walls were a gift from god and that it was sinful to even touch the walls.

All in all, a positive trip for the group. Chase and Kiara had decided that they would introduce themselves to their neighbors which was just at the corner of the street they lived in. Chase had gone up the door with Kiara following behind him. He soon knocked on the door and a lady with long black hair and was quite pretty answered.

?????: Hello, may I help you dear?

Chase: Hello miss! My name is Chase Grimn, and this is Kiara my little sister

Kiara: Hello!

?????: well hello Chase and Kiara. My name is Carla Yeager but call me Carla. I've never met the two of you. Are you guys new here?

Kiara: yes ma'am, we were from a hunting village quite far from the north. We moved here when both our older brother and sister that enlisted to the military.

Carla: I see, well welcome. I have two kids who are about your age. They could use some friends

Chase: we loved to!

Carla: Wonderful! EREN!

?????: You don't have to yell mom...

Soon enough there was a boy that was slightly shorter than Chase but taller than Kiara came out. He has green eyes and short brown hair and judging by his facial expression, it looked like he had just woken up. He soon spoke in a rather tired voice.

Eren: Hmmm... Oh I haven't seen you before. Are you new here?

Chase: yeah, I'm Chase and this is Kiara. I was thinking we could hangout, that's if you want to.

Upon saying that, Eren's face lit up and accepted his offer. Not before calling out for a girl name Mikasa. She was quite pretty to Chase's eyes. She had raven hair as well as a red scarf that was around her neck which made her look cute, but she had that blank look on her face. She sorts of reminded her of Lykan with how stern they look. She then spoke in a rather monotone voice.

Mikasa: Eren, have you eaten yet? I don't want you to starve

Eren: I'm fine Mikasa. Come on, let's meet up with Armin and hang out with Chase and Kiara!

Mikasa looked at both Chase and Kiara and studied their facial expressions and their features. Chase having black hair with blue eyes while Kiara who was shorter than her and she had purple eyes with very light-brown hair that went down her back, and she just simply radiated positive energy that even Mikasa smiled just by looking at her. Not only that but Mikasa could not stop staring at Chase, he was quite cute, and she had a slight blush that she hid with her scarf while Chase tried his hardest to not blush or stutter.
