The night draws nearer as Chase finally left his peak to at least get ready for bed. The walk to the dorms was a cold one considering the night can be ruthless to such
Chase: *whistling* finally back at the dorm. I wonder what everyone is up to
Opening the door there he saw Eren who doesn't have the bandage around his head anymore which meant he had recovered. Chase had to admit that is rather impressive for how quickly he recovered from his wounds, but Eren's face showed that of distressed especially when talking to Jean and Connie
Armin: come on Jean, Connie. Surely you guys can help Eren out?
Connie: sorry but I'm just a gifted cadet. My only advice is just to have a good feeling that's it really
Jean: I'm more curious to hear on earth you manage to fall upside down for so long
Eren: I'm begging you guys come on!
Connie: but didn't you say that if you're not cut out for it you have to leave?
Jean: or was it 'if you don't have any talent' than you should leave? Which is it?
The look of dismay on his face was evident which Chase smelled in a heartbeat. Coming closer to the lot, they turned their heads to Chase who overheard everything. To say he was disappointed at both of Jean and Connie would be an understatement
Chase: if we're going by that logic both of you idiots should be tossed out as well
Jean/Connie: huh?!
Armin: Chase?
Chase: Jean don't act like the big shot around here when my sister had to help you earlier to stay upright
Jean: s-shit... so you saw...
Chase: Connie
Connie: GO EASY ON ME
Chase: YOU SPUN IN CIRCLES ON THE MECHNAISM THATS EVEN WORSE THAN HANGING UPSIDE DOWN
Connie: aye man you didn't have to call me out on that!
Eren: *laughing*
Armin: *snickering*
Chase: before going around pointing fingers at other people, make sure your hands are clean
Jean: r-right...
Connie: y-yeah... wait what does that mean exactly?
Chase: *facepalm* and I thought Sasha was an airhead
Armin: he means if you're going to judge others make sure you are perfect
Connie: ah... yeah... I understand. Sorry about that Jaeger, got stuck up my own ass there
Jean: y-yeah... what he said
Eren: *sigh* it's fine. I mean I was cocky earlier
Jean: if you want actual advice maybe Marco or Reiner or maybe even Bertholdt can help you
Connie: yeah! Reiner is hella good! He manages to ace the mechanism just as good as Chase over here
Eren: okay then thanks guys!
Both Eren and Armin left afterwards to find Reiner and Bertholdt who were on their bunk chatting away, but Chase wanted to say a few parting words to his two comrades. Though he was disappointed with them, the two were still people he counts as his friends however, he still wasn't letting them off the hook for stepping over his best friend
