"So, you're saying we're just AI's? Like, Sims?" Amy commented once the boy had finished his story.

"Sort of. But more advanced," Castor suggested, "But this universe - this simulation - is breaking down. It's glitching. I'm here to guide you to fix it."

"wait," Maddie inquired, "Us?"

"Why us?" Lori prompted.

The boy sighed before continuing, "It's hard to explain. you guys are technically sta-"

"Wait, what?" Judie murmured.

"Let me explain," the boy replied, quite agitated, "You guys technically make up the five stars surrounding my planet, Cassiopeia."

"You," he said, pointing at Alice, "are Achird."

"You," he pointed at Maddie this time, "are Rucha."

He then pointed at Lori, stating, "You are Schedir."

Castor then pointed at Amy, "You are Caph."

"And you," he finished, pointing at Judie, "are Cih."

"And you make up the Stellarum belt, surrounding my home world of Cassiopeia."

Cue another awkward silence.

"So...." Judie interrupted, "what do you want us to do?"

The boy - Castor - paused before answering.

"The system keeping your world together is breaking," he stated, "We need to find the main system to find the glitches before anyone notices."

....

"Get out."

~~~~~
"He's failing miserably."
"What do you think we should do?"
"Send in reinforcements."
"We can't."
"Why not?"
"Give him time."
~~~~~

"Do you think we should trust him?" Maddie questioned.

It was the morning after, a Saturday. The group had gathered at their local strip mall.

"You seriously want us to believe him?" Lori retorted.

"He seemed to be telling the truth," Alice suggested.

"So did Hitler until he decided to invade Czechoslovakia," concluded Judie.

"But it does seem like a cool idea," noted Amy.
