As a wise man once said, "Try today, Cry tomorrow"
And screw you, no one ever said that.
After a quick snack, currently I'm on my horse and riding to the shrine I was in just this Afternoon.
A lot of shit's been happening since I fainted.
I'm with the team that was sent to investigate Akemi-san's kidnapping.
It comprised of Kentaro Ken, the Spirit Corps 2nd Division Commander, Me, and 20 Royal Soldiers.
And don't forget the horses.
It's been 15 minutes since sunset.
The night is a bit cloudy, near the capital, but over here, where we were riding, the sky was clear and beautiful.
Just like back in my village.
All of the twinkling stars.
Wait-
Did I just get distracted by stars?
God, the princess is freaking kidnapped.
Can't my brain take it a bit more seriously?
Apperantly not.
We reached the cave though.
We posted the horses on the rocks and went down.
Kentaro-san really knew his way.
He led us straight down to the shrine.
How??
There were like a billion forks in the road!!
Anyways, we reached and the first couple of observations-
1) The barrier wasn't there.
2) Akemi-san's earring on the floor, not far from where I fainted.
3) Blood trails starting from Akemi-san's earring.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we found Akemi-san dead.
We followed the trail, as a person would.
Kentaro-san again led the way.
The trail led away from the shrine, opposite of the symbol-filled back wall.
The trail also stopped at one point, but then continued as drops.
It led to another path of the cave, quite far from the shrine.
The path had ended with the final bit of the blood pointing to a crevice in the end wall.
Of course, cliché as heck, all of us speculated that there was a hidden door there that opens by the crevice.
Most probably Akemi-san was in there.
Most probably she was dead, but doesn't hurt to investigate... right?
We searched around for triggers that could possibly open the 'hidden door'
The royal soldiers also started searching on Kentaro-san's orders.
He was appointed as the captain of this operation by the king if you can't seem to get it by now.
Oh and I also just got possessed my Mr. Dragon.
Nice.
He's just trying to give information to others.
Such a nice guy.
He basically said that the door had a sensor for spirit energy, and would only open if we could discharge a bit of it into the crevice, the door would open.
