Part 5

Kara flew all the way to Midvale and busted down a door of what looked like an abandoned house. Kara quickly made her way into the house. "Y/n? Y/n?"

Kara turned a corner and could see computer screens with you on them. Kara quickly made her way to the screens. "Y/n. Y/n!"

Someone came up behind Kara. "She can't hear you Kara."

Kara quickly turned. "Rick?" Rick gestured to Kara. "Jeez, I haven't seen you since graduation. You look great."

Kara walked over to Rick and lifted him off of the ground. "Where's my sister?"

Rick looked down at Kara. "You break my father out of prison yet?"

Kara scowled up at Rick. "You know I can't do that."

"Can't or won't?"

Kara threw Rick into the wall opposite. Kara started advancing on Rick. "Tell me where she is."

Rick pointed a finger at her. "That's not how this works. Now why don't you try and play nice, Kara? You were always the nice one."

Kara shook her head. "Just let me talk to her."

Rick grinned. "Well, if that gets you to play ball, then I'm happy to help."

Rick went to the computer and started pressing buttons. Rick stepped away from the computer.

Kara got closer and started talking. "Y/n! Y/n!"

You looked up frantically at the camera. "Kara, is that you? Rick Malverne from Midvale, he kidnapped me!"

Kara was frantic with worry. "I know, I'm with him right now. Are you okay? Where are you?"

"My tracker. Can you use my tracker?"

"It's not working. We don't know..."

Rick manoeuvred himself around Kara. "Okay, that's enough of a reunion I think."

"No wait!"

Rick started pacing. "It's simple. She's told you she's okay. And now we trade my father for Y/n."

Kara shook her head. "Your father is a murderer."

"Manslaughter."

Kara was starting to get mad. "Tell me where she is."

"Tick, tock. Tick tock."

Kara's eyes started to glow, her heat vision simmering. Rick didn't look scared, he got up close to Kara to get a better look. "Oh, wow, it's even cooler up close. You hurt me, you'll never find her. And she'll die. Slowly."
