Maggie's girlfriend

Part 12

Maggie hid behind a wall waiting for a guard to leave. Maggie quickly made her way to the door and put a device by the camera that would stop the guards from seeing her on CCTV.

Maggie walked towards Thompson's cell and put a device on the handle that opened the door.

Thompson looked confused. "What the hell are you doing?"

Maggie quickly grabbed his arm. "Taking you to your son."

Maggie shot the security cameras. Thompson smiled. "Nice gun." Maggie sighed. "It's my girlfriend's."

Kara and Alex blocked Maggie's path. Kara stepped forward. "Maggie, you know Y/n wouldn't want you to do this."

"All I care about is getting her back alive. You were right, sometimes words don't work."

Alex stepped forward. "Sometimes punching doesn't either."

Kara looked at Thompson. "She just came from your son. She was with him all day, trying to turn him, make him understand. Do you know what kind of words your son has been using? Words like rescue and love. He says he wants to rescue you, like you rescued him. But if he kills Y/n Danvers, he'll never be rescued. He'll have to live with that for the rest of his life. And that'll be his hell. Now you've done a lot of bad things in your life, but you've done one thing you can be proud of. You were a father. A good one. You were there for your son during the toughest time of his life, and that's what you need to do again now. If he kills her, you will have failed at the one good thing you've done with your life. Be a father now."

You was trying your best to not breathe in any of the water, but it was getting difficult.

Maggie's phone started beeping and she showed it to Alex and Kara. "She's out of time."

Alex stood next to Kara. "Please, is there anywhere he would have taken her?"

Thompson nodded. "There's one place."

You gasped and was submerged in the water.

Kara, Alex and Maggie ran into the warehouse. The three of them shouting your name. They all froze when they saw you floating.

Kara quickly sped over to the container and punched the glass, sending you to the floor. You started coughing as Alex and Kara knelt down beside you. "Y/n! Y/n!"

Maggie knelt down and rested your head in her lap. "Thank god. She's okay. She's alright."

You held on to Alex and Kara, while wrapping your arm tightly around Maggie.

When you woke up in the DEO you looked to see Maggie staring out the window. "Hey, you."

Maggie turned when she heard you. Maggie quickly made her way towards you.

You smiled up at Maggie. "You okay?"

Maggie sat on the bed next to you. "Am I okay? Are you kidding? That was really clever, with the whole Navy Seal thing with your pants. What was that?"

You both started laughing. "Well I knew I just had to buy a couple seconds. I knew you were coming. You didn't let me finish before, but I, um..."

"What?"

"I just really have to say it now."

"Y/n..."

You pushed yourself up into a sitting position. You turned to face Maggie. "Those firsts that you talked about... I want to have them all with you. I never want to stop having firsts with you. I love you Maggie Sawyer."

"I love you Y/n Danvers."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah..."

You leaned forward and pulled Maggie into a loving kiss both of you holding the other.

You walked into the main room of the DEO with Maggie holding you to keep you up right. "She refused to stay in bed."

Everyone turned when they saw you both. "Alex looked concerned. "Are you sure you're alright?"

You smiled. "I'm alright."

Mon - el joined your sisters. "I knew you'd be fine."

J'onn was smiling at you. "You did good Y/n."

He looked at Maggie. "You two Maggie." He pulled you both into a hug.

"Just doing what you taught me to do."

You turned when you heard Rick. "Oh. You survived."

Winn pointed at him. "Oh, you do not get to talk to her."

You turned back to J'onn. "What are you gonna do to him?"

J'onn looked at Rick. "My job. Protect the identity of Supergirl and the DEO."

You nodded. "You're gonna mind wipe him?"

"Do you object?"

You shook your head. "No. Just...Before you do..." You turned to Rick and punched him in the face. Everyone around you started to laugh.

Alex smiled at J'onn. "Just make sure he remembers that."

J'onn smiled. "With pleasure."

Maggie pulled Alex and Kara to one side. "I need to thank the both of you."

Kara and Alex both looked confused. "Thank us? For what?"

"I was so afraid of losing her that I wasn't thinking. And I almost..."

Kara sighed. "But you did the right thing. And that was all you. All I did was remind you of everything you've been telling us the whole time."

Maggie grinned. "The three of us made a pretty good team, didn't we?"

Alex nodded. "Well, we all love her."

Maggie nodded. "Yeah." Maggie turned to Kara to try and shake her hand.

Kara looked shocked. "What? No, get in here." Maggie was pulled into a hug by Alex and Kara. Everyone happy that they had you back and that you were safe.
