Ellie: Luke and I got caught last night. The police spoke to my parents, I'm not allowed to leave the house tonight. Sorry guys.
Luke: Mum kicked my ass.
Calum: Maybe we should take a night off?
Lacey: Really? Come on guys, it was one problem.
Michael: I agree with Calum, a night off.
Cara: Ellie's mum called mine. Looks like I'm not going out tonight either.
Ashton: Looks like its just you and me Chapman. 7 Don't be late.

My mother was doing yoga in the front room when i was about to leave to meet Ashton at the Lake. Weirdly enough she was laying on the floor with her legs in the air trying to copy the person on the TV, although she looked nothing like that, she looked as if she was struggling pretty badly. My ripped shorts sat snug around my waist and my nirvana shirt tucked into them. My knees looking rather horrid after falling over a few nights ago, i said bye to my mother who now looked like a fish out of water. The walk down my street towards the lake was pretty quick, Ashton as always was already there sitting on the edge of the small wooden pier. My feet tapped on the wooden floor of the pier thing as i walked down it to sit beside Ashton. "I'm not late." I stated taking the backpack off and throwing it down between me and Ashton as i sat down. "Thats good Chapman." He said with a slight chuckle. I hummed in responce.
I never knew what to talk about with Ashton. It was like no words could come out of my mouth without me either saying something sarcastic or something that would probably bore him. He on the other hand never looked like he even cared. Ashton looked like he could sit in a room full of people and not care about having a conversation with any one of them, except his mum, sister or his brother. By 7:20pm we'd been sat in silence for over 5 minutes. "Don't say much do you?" I said shuffling around swining my legs. "Nope." He said back. "But when i do say something its either to defend myself, one of you idiots or its sarcastic so, maybe thats why i keep my mouth closed." He chuckled, he was right, Ashton wasn't really a conversation type of person, nothing could keep the conversation going because he didn't really care.
Last night when we were running away from the police after Michael came up with the great idea tha we should go to the club in the city. Ashton was the one who guided me back to the Lake, he always made sure i was ok and that i was never out of his sight. Michael and Calum had gone over to some girls and well Calum being himself he tried it on, the girl had non of it and neither did the boyfriend. Although he was a skinny looking nerdy guy he packed a mean punch, that Calum can definitely agree with, from the look on his face and the blood pouring from his nose i don't think he's ever going to want to go back there again. Anyway, long story short, security found us becaude of the mini fight, and we got asked for ID, non of us had any so they knew striaght away that we were underage and then we ran off, like we always do when we've done something that we know could land us in shit with the police and our parent's. See we aren't that bad.
"I love this place." Ashton spoke up. "Especially at night..its better than sitting in a bar." He said looking over the lake. "I'd much rather sit here or on the hill than have any expeirence like last nights ever again." I laughed. "Come on don't pretend you didn't like holding my hand." He said nudging my shoulder. "I would have enjoying holding Michael's hand more." I said flashing him a smile. "Whatever." He then muttered laughing with me.
11:40 came by and as usual i was slightly intoxicated with no care in the world about anything or anyone, unlike Ashton who was sitting beside me still watching me to make sure i didn't roll off the side of the pier and drown. That would be one hell of an explination. Anyway. He sat and i laid back with my legs hanging off the edge of the pier giggling like a kid who played beep-o for the first time in their life. "Ashton! Look at the stars! They look so pretty!" I said pointing to the sky. Ashton's laugh became louder as he laid back looking up at the stars with me.
