"I love you guys." Ellie slurred in the back seat laying down as Luke tried to help her out of the truck. "We love you too Ellie, now please get out." I laughed turning in my seat to look at her, a grin on her face as she wrapped her arms around Luke's neck. "Thanks for the lift Ash." He said grabbing Ellie's legs, carrying her like a baby.
Ashton only nodded and waited for the car door to close before he sped off in the direction to my house. My house was a small one, i wasnt an only child, my brother Jack moved out when i was 16, our home was small, and i liked it the way it was. Why would anyone want a big house and not be able to fill all of the rooms? I jumped out of the truck, grabbing my backpack i turned away closing the truck door. "Hey Ash?" I said leaning on the window. He turned to me, looking rather tired, his hair floping over his face. "Want to come inside?" I asked, the words coming out of my mouth before my brain gave me time to even think about saying them. A smile rose on Ashton's face, he nodded quickly taking the keys out of the truck and getting out.
Nobody was awake when we went inside, obviously. My parents had clearly gone to bed drunk after a dinner party, becasue the plates were on the table and a wine glass sat beside each plate. "My mother loves to cook for other people please mind the mess." Ashton nodded, looking around at the house, photographs on the wall of me and my brother. I kicked off my shoes and walked up a few of the steps waiting for Ashton to realise i had moved. Once he realised he quickly walked over, his hands stuffed in his pockets. He looked really good, like really good, just tading there with his hands stuffed in his jeans pockets, and his hair all over his face. He really does look good. He followed me up the stairs and to my room. I wasnt going to sit downstairs, the risk of my parents coming down finding us was very high. "I apologise for my room." I said as i opened the door.
The next time i looked at the clock it was around 1:30am. Ashton and I were just laid on my bed, doing nothing. Ashton was laid on his front, his arms crossed on my pillow, and his head laid on the side so that he was facing me. "So," He said looking straight at me. "So what?" I asked, shuffling down the bed getting more comfortable. "I should probably get going." He said, but he didn't move. "But?" I said back, knowing there was a but coming somewhere. "But, i really can't be bothered to move." I shrugged and said nothing, sitting up. "You can stay here, i mean my parents mums pretty laid back.." He didn't say anything for a moment, but nodded slightly. "Sweet."

I woke up to the sound of my mums work-out/yoga dvd. Ashton was flat out next to me, somehow we'd both fell asleep in our clothes and somehow he's still sleeping with that going on downstairs. "Ash." I said sitting up, putting my arm on his shoulder and shaking him lightly. It didn't take too long for me to wake him up, his eyes shot open and he sat up quickly. "Shit. What time is it?" I looked over at the clock on my side. "9:30 why?" Ashton cursed again rolling off my bed trying to pull his shoes on. "I was supposed to be taking my brother to football at 10." He said standing up, and pulling his jeans up slightly.
I got up off my bed and quickly ran down the stairs, seeing my mother doing some weird thing on the floor, attempting to copy the woman on the yoga video but failing badly. Ashton bumped into the back of me, grabbing my shoulders to stop me from probably falling on my face. "Lacey!" My mother smiled. "Hi mum. This is Ashton." She smiled at him and i felt his hands leave my shoulders and a saw his raise one to wave at my mother. "Hello Mrs Chapman, sorry for not letting you know i was here." He said sweetly. "Look mum Ashton has somewhere he needs to be, so spare him the conversation for today." I said grabbing his shirt pulling him towards the door, letting him grab his keys on the way. "Lovely to meet you Ashton!" My mother called as we walked into the hallway.
"Sorry." He mumbled as we got to the door. "Don't be, I'll see you later at the lake with everyone or something." I shrugged, half relieved he was leaving because i probably looked like shit. But half dissapointed because i didn't want him to go so soon. "You're a star Chapman." He said grabbing my head, and planting a kiss right on my forehead. "Go away Ashton." I laughed pushing him away from me and towards the door. He laughed, did a salute and ran off to the truck.
I quickly closed the door and went back into the front room, where my mother was stood, a smile on her face as if she was pleased? "He looks lovely Lacey." She said wiggling her shoulders. "Too bad her had to leave so early." She said with a laugh clearly trying to embarrass me. "Goodbye mother!" I groaned running back off upstairs.
