"Izzy!" Sam screams trying to get my attention. "Izzy!"

I spin on my heals to face her. "I'm sorry you had to see that"

"See what? I'm not worried about that I'm worried about you"

"Why?"

Sam stood there for a minute trying to figure out what to say.

"Do you want to come over later?" She asks. "We could make cookies, and stay up late watching old 80's movies?"

"But, why?" I ask.

"You're new to town, and I'm guessing it hasn't been the best..."

I slightly nod my head. "It sounds fun."

"Great!" She exclaims. "So do you want to go now? Or-"

"My dads out, I'll text him later. But I'm fine until then" I say. Sam smiles and we both walk back over to the car wash where I saw three guys talking to Owen and Mason. "What's going on?"

"Their cobra Kai's, tell them to leave" one of the boys says. He was short with dark hair and glasses.

"So what?" Owen yells.

"Izzy you didn't say they were Cobra Kai's?!" Sam yells at me.

"What the hell is a fucking Cobra Kai?" I ask and everyone looks at me.

"You are friends with them, you should know-"

"I haven't seen them in over 8 goddamn months!" I yell. "I don't know what crazy psychotic rivalry y'all have but figure your shit out, then come talk to me" I say before walking out.

When I start to walk down the road back to the sidewalk, the guys on motorcycles drive right up next to me.

"Move, princess!" The guy in the middle yells. I flip him off and start walking down the street. I got about halfway down the block when I heard someone yelling my name.

"Izzy, do you still want to come over?" Sam asks. I agree and we start walking back over to her car.

It was awkward and quiet for a while, until Sam broke it.

"How do you know the boys back there?"

"Just...old friends from back home" I tell her.

"But you all are now living here? And why were they calling you Bella?" Sam asks.

"Bella, is another nickname for Isabella. I mean, I love Owen and Mason but why the hell do they have to be here?" I rant.

"What's wrong with them? Besides that they're in cobra Kai?"

"They know more about me than I'd like" I expose.

"Like what?" Sam asks. Damn this bitch was nosy. But do I just tell her?

"Long story" I spat out.

"Well, my parents are at work, and my brothers at a sleepover so we have the whole place to ourselves" Sam says pulling into a driveway to a huge house. It left me in awe for a moment.

"Holy shit" I say getting out of the car. "This place is amazing"

"Thanks. Cmon let's go" Sam says running inside with me behind her. When we both get inside we go upstairs to Sams room.

"So what now?" I ask.

"Have you seen any cute boys in the valley so far?" Sam asks and lays on her bed. I don't say anything, but smile.

"No, not yet. But I start school soon" I say sitting down.

"I don't believe you. Not one boy you thought was cute?"

"Well..." I admit. "There's this one boy, I saw. He's- I- I met him through my dad"

"Well good luck with that" Sam tells me. "I once dated this guy that worked for my dad, and he...it didn't turn out that well."

I just nod, and look away.

"Hey, let's go make those cookies, yeah?" Sam asks. I agree and we walk downstairs and start taking out supplies when the doorbell rings. "I'll get that" Sam says walking to the door. I start looking in the fridge for the eggs, but can't find it.

"Sam, where are the eggs?" I ask walking over to the door. Sam just shuts it and walks over to the kitchen angry.

"Do you know how to fight?" She asks.

"Yeah, why?"

"Because we might need another good fighter. But I get if you don't want to, because you'll be fighting your friends." Sam says,

"I'll think about it, yeah?" I ask. She agrees and we continue baking and making small talk.

Halfway through top gun my phone starts blowing up.

"Hey, I'll be right back" I tell Sam before walking over to the other room. I quickly call my dad.

"Izzy, I'm home, are you okay?" My dad asks.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'll be home tomorrow, okay?" I tell him. He agrees and I go back to my movie, where me and Sam both fall asleep on the couch.
