When we got there I backed into my parking spot so the three of us could sit in the back. I was in the middle and was leaning my head on Robbys shoulder.

Robby jumps down and I almost fall over.

"Tory what's on your mind?" I ask.

"Nothing"

"Bullshit. How was your first day at work?" I ask.

"I quit. Don't ask me why" she says so I leave it alone.

"What happened to you and Mason?" I ask.

"We're still together. It's weird though." She says.

"Tell me about it" I say as Robby walks back over with a smile.

"What did you do?" I ask.

"Do you like butterfingers?" He asks.

"Sure" I say. He wraps his arm around my shoulder and I lay my head down on his shoulder. Not even twenty seconds later Robby mumbles something and jumps out of the car. "Fuck" I say and do the same. I follow Robby and Tory follows me.

"You two betrayed Miagi do. Traders." Nate yells.

"I was never in miagi do, fuck" I say. There was a lot of back-and-fourth bickering before Miguel walks up.

"We'll beat them on the mat"

"You remember what happened last time we fought, right?" Robby says to Miguel.

That was a different kind of low.

"Baseball diamond. Half hour" Miguel says.

Tory walks back to the car but before me and Robby got there I pull him aside.

"What the hell Robby?" I yell. "I don't think you should be flexing the fact you almost killed someone"

"Who's side are you on?" He asks.

"I'm not in this karate war! How many times do I need to say it?! Damn it Robby, I can't defend anything else you do involving your probation anymore. If you go fight them I'm leaving" I tell him and cross my arms.

He stands there for a minute with the same expression. "Like you're driving away or leaving me?"

"I don't know. I'm pretty sure you and Tory can get a ride, right?" I say.

"Will you call the cops?" He asks.

"No, but if they show up I'm not helping." I say. "I love you, I do, but you have a half hour." I say and get back into the car. Robby does too, but he sits a few inches away from me. "Robby come here" I say and walk to the front of the car so Tory couldn't see us.

"What?" He says.

"I really didn't want to tell you this, but Silver is a manipulator. I can see it because I grew up with it. He's getting in you're head, and he will ruin the Robby Keene I love so much and he's already doing it. I'm not telling you to quit, I just want you to look out for that" I tell him.

"You are sending me really mixed messages." Robby says.

"I know"

"So, what are you saying with the baseball diamond fight?" He asks.

"I will drive away" I say. He nods and walks to the diamond with Tory.

I'm not going to lie, that hurt. I still held my ground and I drove away without looking back.

The next morning I wake up with a killer headache. I walk downstairs and see Vivian packing some food.

"Hey. Long time no see" she says.

"Yeah say that to my dad" I say and sit down. "Do we have any aspirin?"

"I don't think so, do you want me to pick you up some on my way home?" Vivian asks.

"Nope. I'll run out and get some" I say.

"Okay. Call me if you need anything" she says and walks out. I hear her car start and leave. I quickly grab my keys and walk out to my car. I try to start the engine but it wouldn't start. I try again and same thing.

"Shit" I mumble and take out my phone.

"LaRusso residence. This is Amanda-"

"Hi, Mrs. LaRusso. Can you give me the number to one of your garages? My car won't start and I really need to get somewhere" I tell her.

"I'm sorry, who is this?"

"It's Izzy, I can pay 100% of the bill with my own money."

"Don't worry about that. What's up with your car?" She asks.

"It won't start."

"I'm sending a tow truck. I'll come pick you up, can you tell me where you're at?"

I thank her and tell her my address. Not long later, Mrs. LaRusso drives up along with a tow truck.

"Are your parents home?" Amanda asks.

"No, they're working" I tell her. "I can pay though, with my own money"

"You don't have to worry" she says. "Are you still in Cobra Kai?"

"I'm not sure" I say. "And before you say anything, I'm not like anyone else there. I don't care about the rivalry, I don't fall for the shit they teach and I'm not even sure Im going to fight in the all1 valley"

"How come?"

"I've already won a trophy fighting, and the whole reason there's this war is kind of really dumb" I tell her.

"I thought I was the only one who fought that" Amanda says and I smile a bit. We get to the garage and they take my car.

"How much do I owe you?" I ask Amanda.

"Nothing, don't worry about it Izzy." She says. "I'll go get Daniel, and he'll tell you what's up" I nod and she walks off. I sit down, and wait for the awkwardness that's about to happen.
