Trouble

I wake up to my phone ringing. I roll over and see Mason asleep.

"Hello?" I ask as I pick up my phone.

"You didn't come home last night, where are you?!" Will yells at me.

"Shit" I say and stand up. "I'm at the dojo, I'll be home later"

"Cobra Kai doesn't open for another 5 hours Izzy" Will says.

"The other dojo; Miagi do. I have to go bye" I say hanging up. I grab all of my things and start walking out.

"Where are you going?" Mason asks.

"Home"

"Why?"

"Because I want to"

"Wait" Mason says and runs up to me. "W-what happened to your eye?" He says and rubs his thumb under my eye.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Izzy, you have a black eye, what happened?"

I pull out my phone and open a camera. He was right, I have a big bruise under my eye.

"Who hit you" Mason yells.

"I'm fine, it was nothing."

"It doesn't look like fucking nothing-"

"Mason!" I yell. "Shut the fuck up"

"Then tell me!"

"Robby hit me" I blurt out. "I don't remember why, but we started arguing and then that happened, so I kicked him out of the car.  Happy?"

"No I'm not damn happy. Where is he?!"

"You will not touch him, you understand?" I say and get nose to nose with him.

He nods, and I start walking out again.

"Izzy, do you want to do something today?" Mason asks.

"No" I say with a disgusted expression. "Last night was basically me coping"

"So you used me to get over your ex?"

"I think you're forgetting that you're my ex too" I tell him. "Last night, we both went home, okay? We didn't kiss. I don't want this getting around"

"Why not?!" Mason yells.

"Because you are more verbally and physically abusive then Robby was and I'm a complete dumbass for letting you get in my head once and I'm not letting you doing it again"

Mason stares at me in shock, and I stand there with my arms folded.

I scoff and walk out of the room and out to my car. On the windshield was a note with my name on it.

I open it up and it says:

Meet me outside the skate park at 4.

No name, nothing. That was it.

I put the note in my pocket and get in my car.

When I get home, I walk in and see Will sitting at the coffee table.

"So what happened last night Izzy?" Will says, and walks over to me so he gets in my face.

"Ask Mason, you two are apparently besties now" I say and walk over to the fridge. "How was dinner last night? Do you have any leftovers?"

"Yeah but they're mine" Will says slamming the fridge door from behind me.

"And you wonder why I'm not here anymore" I say and walk upstairs to my room. I take the note out of my pocket and lay down on my bed with it in my hands.

I keep on re-reading it. Who left this on my car? It had to be someone that knew I was at the dojo.

And who knows what my car looks like.

What about the handwriting? I keep on scanning over it over and over, but I can't make out who wrote it.

There was one person I was praying didn't write it, but just to make sure I call them.

It goes straight to voicemail.

10 seconds later they call back.

"What do you want Izzy-"

"Did you leave a note on my windshield Robby?" I ask.

"Look, I don't have time-"

"It's a yes or no goddamn question" it was silent for a bit.

"No, it wasn't me" he says and hangs up. I still had a half hour before 4, so I run downstairs and grab Will's skateboard before getting back in my car.

I drive to the skate park and start trying to skate using what Robby showed me. I hit a pebble and one of the wheels stop, making me fall forward.

"Do you need a hand?" Someone says from above me. It was Robby.

"Nope" I say and stand up.

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"Trying to skateboard" I tell him.  "You?"

"Thinking things over." He says, "How's life over at miagi do?"

"Well, my reputation has gotten around; Sam's version at least. No one likes me there except for Miguel and Mason, who likes me a little too much"

"Izzy, I've been thinking about what happened with us., and I know this is going to sound really stupid, because I know you and I know you don't like second chances, but I was drunk, and mad. Not mad at you, just mad at the world; like you are. Cobra kai can help with hat, trust me"

"You really called me here so you could get me back into your dojo? I was never in miagi do, and who said I quit Cobra Kai?" I rant. "I'm still pissed at you Robby, I kind of hate you, but I still love you."

I grab the skateboard from under my feet and start walking to my car.

"You still love me?!" Robby yells.

"I never said I didn't!" I yell back. I get into my car and see Sam pull up.

This bitch is the one who wrote the damn letter.
