I fold up the letter and write Robbys name on the front. I stuff it into my pocket and walk downstairs.

"Where are you going?" Will asks me as I walk past him.

"Out"

"Where?"

"That's my fucking business. Have fun at dinner" I say and slam the door behind me as I walk out.

I turn on the music and blast it. Car rides and never fun without music.

I pull into cobra kais parking lot and walk up to the door. Kreese walks out and almost hits me with the door.

"Oh, ms. Walker, what are you doing here at this time?" He asks.

"Did Robby come back here?" I ask him, and lose all my pride in one sentence.

"Yes he did. He's in back" Kreese says and opens the door for me. I walk in, all the lights were off except the one in the back room. I slowly walk over to the door and slide the letter underneath.

There's no way I'm talking to this asshole.

I walk back outside and see that Kreese left. I walk over to my car and open the door when I hear the dojo door slam shut.

"What the hell is this?!" Robby yells, and shows me the letter.

"It's the truth." I get into my car and drive off. I look out my mirrors and see Robby storming back inside with the letter crumbled up in his hands.

While driving, I pull out my phone and call someone.
No answer.

I call again, and they pick up.

"What's up Izzy?" Miguel asks over the phone.

"What's your karate dojo name? I remember it being stupid and totally something that Johnny would think of"

"It's a little complicated right now" he tells me.

"Fine where is it?" I ask.

"Well, right now we're training at miagi do"

"Miagi do?! What did I miss?"

"A lot" Miguel says and chuckles. "Come over here, we could show you around"

I agree and start driving to miagi do. It wasn't hard to recognize it when I got there.

I walk into the house and walk into a bunch of people sitting on the floor meditating.

Everyone looks up at me. I feel so out of place.

Daniel turns around as well.

"Izzy? Why are you here?" He asks.

"I told her to come" Miguel says and stands up.

"I thought she was in cobra Kai?" A small kid that was sitting down says. He looks 9.

"I was, but I despise every single person in that dojo now" I tell them.

"I'm happy to have her here" Mason says. I look down at him with a straight face and flip him off.

"Come here" Miguel says grabbing my hand and walking outside.

Out back there was a coy pond, practicing materials, a garden and more. It was beautiful.
Last time I was here, it wasn't the best time to look around.

"I know you hate Mason but you can't do that here" Miguel tells me. Before I could respond Sam walks up to us.

"Ready to start learning some new karate?" She asks.

"Yeah no shit, that's why I'm here" I snap.

"Izzy" someone says from behind me. I turn around and see mr.LaRusso and Mason standing there.

"Let's call this the end of practice" mr. LaRusso says and sends everyone home.

Everyone leaves except for me and Mason.

"Follow me" he says.

"No, I hate you" I say and stand my ground.

"Come on Izzy. Five minutes?" He pleads.

"Three, and then you have to delete my contact"

"Deal" he says and walks around the house to a ladder. He starts climbing up it and I follow him.

We both sit down on the roof and stare off into the sky.

There was a sunset, a beautiful sunset.

"Why are we up here?" I ask him.

"We need to talk"

"'Bout what?"

"The relationships here. It's crazy" Mason says.

"How?"

"Me and you used to date, I'm dating Tory, you hate Tory, you're dating Robby-"

"Was." I correct. "I was, um, dating Robby"

"When did that happen?"

"This morning." I tell him. "Just, continue"

"Well, Robbys dad and sams dad have a love hate relationship. They hated each other in the 80s. They have their own dojo together now, but Robby and Sam used to date. Sam hates Tory, Tory used to date Miguel, Miguel and Robby hate each other, but me and Miguel are best friends." Mason takes a breath. "You and Miguel are friends and now in the same dojo, but you hate Sam."

"When you put it like that, that's a lot" I tell him. "I knew it was crazy, but wow"

"Yeah" Mason says smiling. "Owen still refuses to join a dojo"

"I don't blame him"

We both sit there in silence, looking into each other's eyes.

"I missed talking with you Izzy."

"Me too." I say smiling. Suddenly, I feel a pair of warm lips against mine, then Mason puts his hands on my waist and I put mine around his neck.

We stop and I look up at him, he's smiling.

"Let's go inside" I say, and start to climb down from the roof. I get to the ground and start to walk towards the door when Mason calls my name.

"Look at the sunset" he says pointing to the sky.

"I know" I tell him. "It's better back at home though"

"Back at home?" He asks. "Like the city?"

"Yeah, when we'd go up to the roof of your apartment building, it was amazing"

Mason puts his arm around my shoulder and we stand there, staring at the sunset together. I feel a kiss on my cheek, and Mason starts walking inside the dojo with my hand in his.
