Sirius Black and Albus Dumbledore arrived in the headmaster's office of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The only occupants of the room apart from them were the Potters and the Longbottoms.

Alice and Lily were cradling the babies while James was watching out the window and Frank was looking around the room with a liquorice wand in his mouth.

They all turned as they heard Dumbledore and Sirius arrive. James went ahead and hugged Sirius. Lily, Alice, and Frank gathered too around the headmaster's table.

"Sir?" Lily asked Albus.

Dumbledore could see the question evident in her voice, so he answered, "the house has been wrecked. There's no chance of living there again in future"

"Sir, did they do this to all the houses they attacked" James asked.

"No, apparently because the only House they attacked were yours both" He said, indicating James and Frank.

"What? But why only them?" Sirius asked.

"Yes! Why us? And don't they have little bit of shame acting families with small children?" Lily asked.

"And what about the manor, and my mother, is she okay? They didn't reach her too, did they?" Frank asked in panic.

"And why are they so adamant about pureblood families joining them" Alice too raised her question.

Dumbledore stared at their young faces for a moment before indicating they sit in the conjured chairs around his table while he himself took his seat.

When all were seated, he adjusted his glasses, his blue eyes shining behind his half moon shaped spectacles.

"My dear comrades, I may have answers to your questions, and I'll do my best in answering them." He addressed them all and conjured some baked cookies and tea from the kitchen.
"First of all, Augusta is as well and good as you might have seen her last and she asked me to remind you that she is not that old yet" Dumbledore answered Frank's question.

He sighed in relief as Dumbledore continued further.

"Next, Longbottom manor has been some damaged, but not as brutal as Potter's house." He further continued and went on, "now the final thing, why did they attack you lot of all people and that so desperately?" He took a pause to organize his thoughts, "the answer of this lies in an event that took place last week. A Prophecy."

"A proph… You mean those idiotic things divination profs talks about. Come on, sir, you know no gives a rat's ass about those." James muttered in disbelief.

"James!! Watch your mouth, there are kids around here. And you're talking to a professor" Lily berated him. James muttered an apology.

"What prophecy, sir. What does it say" Alice asked.

"Well, it was a fine evening, and I was hiring a new divination professor for the school. It's the first time in two years I encountered an application for the same. The lady was Mrs Sybil Trelawney. I asked her to meet me at Hogshead. She was a fine middle-aged woman, just a little dreamy. She talked good but with lack of meaning. I was about to end the meeting and ask her to wait for my owl when she suddenly went stony and pale."
