30th August 1991.

Lily Potter trudged down from the sixth floor of St Mungo's towards the floo with a sullen expression. She had come down to a conclusive fact about mind healing, and she wanted to run that down by the healer in charge for the Longbottoms.

McCarthy was happy to discuss her discoveries, but she was more curious about how did she get hold on to that information. Lily explained to her about how Potter family vault had ancient magic books, not to mention the library of her own house was loaded with those type of books from the vault and different places around the world.

The logic was simple but still quite unachievable at this point, according to Healer McCarthy. She informed Lily about how, the Longbottoms' minds were repairing the cell damage through potions, and it will still take a lot of time. And until, and unless, their mind has completely reformed, their conscience cannot be restored.

"And we need a Leglimence, a compelling one, for that when times come to" She further told her.

Lily flooed back to her Potter mansion, she checked the time and according to it James must already be at home. She walked upstairs to the master bedroom and found James on the balcony, looking towards the orchards, where Harry was flying on his nimbus. He had inherited the talent of flying from his father, no doubt.

Lily walked up to James and snaked her arms around his waist from behind.

"So, one more day, huh?" She asked as she too watched Harry flying slowly across the yard.

"Yeah. And then he'll be out in there, open to all goods and evils" James said.

"There's no evil out there, James. It's all over in the past" Lily said.

"Remember what Dumbledore said, he may not be gone for good last time" James returned.

"Yeah, he did say that but, there has been no trace of him anywhere until now. Dumbledore said that too."

"I agree but, I don't why, but I feel like he's out there waiting for Harry to be out in the world to show up" James argued.

"No, he won't, James. We won't let him"

After a few minutes of silence, James broke it, "do you think I should give it to him now".

"What 'it' is?" Lily asked.

"The invisibility cloak" James answered.

"Hmm." Lily turned away to where her son was hopping off the broom keeping it in the shed and walked back towards the house. "I don't think so, now is neither the right time nor the requirement. Just keep it to yourself for now".

"You sure"

"Yeah. Trust me, you'll know when the time comes".

"If you say so, love. How did it go at the hospital?" He asked, just as him, she also had vowed to help her best friend.

Lily sighed heavily, "It may work once their brains cells are restored, and then too we'll require a highly skilled Leglimence to work on them while I do the charm. But that's years away. I can't see how Neville held up all his life, I can't".

"Don't think about it like that. I'm sure you can come up with something" James supported her as an idea popped into his mind, "Hey, I have a suggestion, why don't you try to speak with an unspeakable. I'm sure my Auror status can let you in to one of them. What do you say?"

Lily's eyes light up at the suggestion, "exactly, why didn't I think of it before. I love you, Potter" She kissed him soundly on the mouth.

"Love you too, Potter" James said as he accepted and returned the kiss. "But not now, let's just stay on hold until Harry leaves for Hogwarts. Then we both have important places to visit. What say?"
