James and Lily were in passionate embrace in their bed in Potter house. Their blissful honeymoon was over too soon for their liking and now they were back to their lives.

James had joined Aurors as soon as they came back from the Crete, while Lily was happily freelancing as a Potioneer and charms researcher. It was few days after their comeback that they had to face another big trauma.

Fleamont Potter and Euphemia Potter left the new Potter couple to move onto their next great adventure, as Dumbledore stated it. They died due to dragon pox. Both of them were quite aged to cope up with the disease.

James was dull and sad the whole week, even Sirius and Lily combined couldn't do anything to lift his mood. They didn't blame him too, he was the only son of them and was heavily spoiled.

Fleamont and Euphemia Potter had him very late in their life. This was due to some curse Euphemia had been shot with at a young age by the then rising dark lord.

And the same dark Lord had now gained a name for himself, Lord Voldemort.

But soon the family and friends' support brought the life to a slumber. Sirius and James were the top most Aurors in the academy and favourites in any case relates to death eaters or dark magic.

Remus Lupin, due to him being a werewolf, was unable to find a job in wizarding world so was working in a muggle library in London.

Peter Pettigrew was another lost cause, he says he works for as a freelance curse breaker. But Merlin knows how he does it, seeing his NEWTs.

James and Lily were enjoying the off day relaxing in the sun with Sirius running around the garden as Padfoot while Remus and Peter were not free.

"Don't you think he's better off as Padfoot than Sirius" Lily muttered as she lay with her head on James chest while they lay against a tree in the soft grass of the garden in Potter house. "He's less annoying this way" She added.

"You should suggest that to him. Although there are a few girls who might oppose you on that" James said, stroking her soft red locks.

"Any news on death eater sightings. Did you find where their headquarters is" She asked him seriously.

"No we didn't. It's awful out there, I won't lie to you, Lily. You need to be careful when you go out now. We've already defied him twice. I don't think we'll be Lucky again. " James said, as serene as her now.

"Well you guys shouldn't worry about these things after marriage, your friends are there for this. You should be more interested in increasing your family by numbers." Sirius teased them now in his human form.

"Ohh shut it, black. I don't think it's the right time for a baby. Don't you see how the times are" Lily replied adding" I want my baby to rise in a carefree and loving environment, not when a war is raging outside. And me being Muggleborn it's not good for us now "

"Since when are you so scared, Evans. Where's the bold girl who used to berate our prongs at school." Sirius teased her again.

"One, It's Potter now Black. Two, I'm not scared, I just don't want my child to grow up in such dark times." Lily returned.

"And if he does, I'll do anything to protect that child and you" James spoke, cutting out any reply Sirius had.

"Yeah, I know that but we-.." Lily started to say, but she interrupted herself and ran off towards the corner of the garden and emptied her stomach.
