"Where there is love there is life."

~Mahatma Gandhi

Arthur's POV

 Freya smiles. "Melrin."

"But..." he tries to stand up, to go to her, but I push him down. He doesn't need to walk yet. Freya comes to him. "You-you..." he stutters. I laugh.

Freya grasps Merlin's outstretched hand and squeezes his naturally pale fingers. "You, Merlin. You brought me back."

Merlin's blue eyes are bewildered. "How?" he asks.

"Love." Kilgharrah's raspy voice startles me. He'd been so quiet I'd forgotten he was there at all. "It seems that when you healed Arthur, your love for him brought Freya back, as well." He smiles, which is an odd expression on the face of a dragon. "The most powerful magic in existance, love."

I clap Merlin on the back. "You did it, Merlin."

He glances at me, still utterly shocked. "I..."

"Oh, shut up, Merlin. Here, Freya, you convince him." I give him a nudge toward her.

"Gladly." She laughs and grabs Merlin's arm, pulling his face close to hers until their lips meet. The kiss is soft and short. The beauty of the moment makes me misss Guinevere. Suddenly my heart aches for Merlin more sharply than when Mordred's blade nearly pierced it. While he was asleep, Freya shared her story with me. I can't imagine losing Gwen like that. I'm glad Merlin got Freya back.

Merlin has tears in his eyes. "I thought I'd lost you." he breathes.

Freya presses her forehead against his. "We did lose each other." she sighs. "But you found me again."

"Always." he replies.

A/N: Sorry it took so long to update (like always, but hey, practice for those of us in the Sherlock fandom, right?) and sorry it's so short. Also, I just really like the way Kilgharrah says "Love." If you don't remember it you should totally go and look it up. I don't remember what episode it was from but yeah....honestly I pretty much love the way Kilgharrah says everything, 'cause John Hurt is AWESOME. I'm just rambling now so I'm going to stop. (This is why I write instead of talking to people).
