*Veronicas POV*

Two months later...

I sat at the towns most poplar restaurant with Ian on a date. Asshole.

I sighed and fiddled with the rings on my fingers as Ian was on his phone smiling.

He looked up to me and rolled his eyes.

"Are you really gonna be bitchy?" He complained.

I looked up to him and my eyes widened. I quickly fixed my posture and set a good enough smile on.

"No." I assured.
"Eat then." He put his phone down, rolling his tongue in his mouth and leaned back on his chair crossing his arms.

My smile dropped and I frowned.

"Stop smiling at that phone then." I replied back ever so fearless.

Tonight I need to end things off with him. Why? Well the dickhead himself is cheating on me and not only he's become more annoyed with me.

He constantly has to argue with me, find every flaw in me and judge me of basically everything. I can't even feel comfortable around him, tell the smallest things even.

"Aww is some one jealous." He mimicked pouting his lips.

The anger fumed in me and I slowly sat up trying my best not to make it seem like I was angry.

"You know what no because Ian we're done." I spat and walked out the restaurant.

I got my phone out and dialled Asher's number.

He immediately picked up.

"Hey... I thought you where on a date with Ian?" He sounded unsure.

"Was. But I'm done with the fucker, can I come over?" I asked.
"Oh... I'm so sorry! And yeah you can come over." His voice sounded excited.
"See ya." I quickly replied.
"See ya." He ended the call.

After walking for a few minutes I was at Asher's. I knocked on the door and instantly it opened.

Asher stood there in only grey sweat pants... fuck.

I walked inside and sat on the couch.

"Where's the rest?" I'm referring to his sister, mom and dad.
"Went for a short trip this weekend." He walked to the kitchen.

I lifted an eye brow and hopped off the couch walking towards him.

"And you didn't go with?" I leaned against a counter.
"No..." he chuckled confused.
"The fuck?!" I shouted louder than expected.
"I didn't want to to go because... you know." He whispers the last part.

He walks towards me with a cup of water. I grab it and place myself on the counter behind me.

"I know what?" I ask.
"Never mind..." he sighed looking up to me.

Our eyes connected and something in me told me that this meant something. The tension holding between us with just short time of eye contact was potential.

"What... Asher?" I whisper my eyes go down towards his lips.
"F-fuck..." he stuttered.

He walked a step closer to me almost in between my thighs.

Getting closer and closer.

Now he was in between my thighs his chest inches away from my clothed one.

"Because of you..." he whispered.

I felt butterflies in my stomach.

I moved my face closer to his, so close to kissing him when the moment was ruined by his phone ringing.
