"Why would you tell him! A stranger! You put the entire party, no, the entire world in danger!" Mike ranted on after the pair of girls showed up, Peter accompanying them.
"He isn't gonna tell anyone!" Max rolled her eyes.
"You've known him for two day!" Mike threw his hands up in disbelief, "How could you do this?"
"She didn't." El cut him off, eyes turning her way, "I told Peter."
Mike gapped at her, "El, what were you thinking?"
"Peter is friend." El said back, looking back at the shy boy, who stood in the doorway of the basement.
"He isn't your friend. He's a danger to you, to all of us. He could tell everyone." Mike ranted on in disbelief, waving his hand around.
"Stop talking about me like i'm not here." Peter cut off, uncrossing his arms as he rose his hands, "I don't know what you think you know about me, but I would never put El, Max, or any of their friends in danger."
"We don't even know you!" Mike hollered his way.
"Oh, yes you do." Peter rolled his eyes.
"He is related to Mr. Clarke." Lucas spoke up, getting a look of disbelief from Mike, "I'm just saying!"
"Not just anyone can know about El and Will!" Mike continued on in distress, waving his hands around to express his agony.
"He isn't just anyone, he's mine and El's friend." Max rolled her eyes, "We already made sure he wouldn't tell anyone. It was El's decision. She can tell anyone anything she likes, it's her secret."
"It's not just her secret when everyone is in danger now!" Mike gave a insane look her way.
"Friends don't lie." Peter stated, Mike's head turning his way, "I'm not gonna tell anyone. El is my friend, so is Max. If i'm such a monster, why'd I protect them yesterday from Heathers parents knowing about El?"
Mike looked over at her in questing.
"Said I was from in-appleless." El explained with a raise of her eyebrows, "Friend from camp."
Mike gave Peter a look as the boy sighed, "Indianapolis."
"You can trust him." Max spoke up again, looking to Lucas, "Tell him!"
Lucas rose his hands in defense, "Mike, if they say so."
Mike signed as he looked over at Peter. The Clarke boy looked at Will, "We're here for Will. You're just wasting time on helping him by yelling at me."
Mike huffed as he sat down, Peter following to get between Max and El.
"I didn't think it was anything, at first. I mean, I think I didn't want to believe it." Will began to explain, sitting high on his chair, "The first time I felt it was at Day of the Dead."
