27.A nightmare

Ahh what the hell Emily? Why your mind just keep thinking of him? I want to sleep peacefully but seem like god didn't want me to. I already put his jacket on my wardrobe, if not I'll be more crazier.

Tomorrow I have hang out with my friends and it's 1am now but I still can't sleep. I took my iPod and open my favorite song which is fit my feelings right now - "Insomnia" by Stray Kids - it was pretty hype so I went around my room and dancing like crazy.

Eventually, I fell back in my bed with a very tired feeling but fun...(to be honest, the author of this story also does like this when she can't sleep). I slowly fell asleep and into dreamland

"Hey...You okay?" - I saw Hyunjin looking at me in a worry way.

"What happened?" - I realized I'm on the bed in Hyunjin castle.

"I don't know, you ran to my castle and fainted."

"Wait...where's Chan? Is he okay?" - I remembered the last time I saw him, he was been stabbed by one of the soldier.

"Hm? What do you mean? You came here by yourself."

"What? Oh no, but Chan is in danger!!! You need to help him Hyunjin!" - I shake Hyunjin hand.

"Ok ok, but tell me what happened."

Then I told him what happened, he looked at me in a very deep and worry way

"Where's his castle? Take me there, now!" - he said and pulled me to his horse then we went to Chan's castle.

"Chan?" - Hyunjin kicked the door aggressively.

"Chan!!" - we keep calling his name but there's no response.

"Where were you guys when the soldiers came in?"

"At the living room!" - we immediately go there.

When we stand infront of the living room, everything is so quiet...not a single sound. What happened? Is Chan already dead? Oh no...calm down, Emily...you need to be calm.

"You ready? I'll kick the door now." - Hyunjin looked at me.

"Wait..." - I held Hyunjin arms and took a deep breath.

"Ok, I'm ready now."

And he kicked the door...Hyunjin leads me in, but I didn't see anything has change since the fight, the sofa, the fireplace and the place that him and I was sitting does not change at all. There's no signs of being damaged or war in here, everything...just so peaceful which makes it looks more dangerous.

"Who are you?" - Hyunjin asked when we saw a person sitting infront of the fireplace and facing back at us.

Then I saw that person stood up and walked to us, because the living room was so dark and it was midnight so I can't see his face clearly but...what? Chan? I'm pretty sure that was Chan.

"Oh you guys are here, I thought you guys would ignore me." - he smiled.

"What happen to you when I'm gone?" - I confused.

"Oh? You don't remember?" - he smirked which makes me more confused.

"Wdym?" - I looked at him in frighten.

"I will tell you guys, sit down." - he said and we sat down at the long couch.

I sat with Hyunjin because I still worry, I feel like something is not right about him. Hyunjin is also put his guard up, I can feel that his eyes is glares tight at that person.

"Come on guys, I'm BangChan. You forgot me?" - he sat back down to the couch next to us.

"Tell me what happened."

"Slow down and drink some tea." - Chan poured tea for us, none of us want to drink that.

"Aisshhhh...Alright, I'm gonna tell you. Actually, those soldiers were just a joke, I just want to see are you fall for me yet. And like you know, you did fell for me already."

"...Stop talking nonsense." - I said, a little tried to deny the fact.

That makes him burst out to laugh, but that laugh is just not like any laughs that I heard from him, is not familiar...tbh, kinda scary.

"Can't you just admit?"

"Can't you get straight into the point." - Hyunjin, who was busy glaring at Chan from the beginning, said.

"Ok fine. I know I'm wrong and shouldn't play like that on Emily, but think deeply, I didn't hurt anyone, right?" - Chan said and ate one of the almond cookies one the table.

Then suddenly, Hyunjin said a sentence which makes me scared to death: "You are not Chan hyung."

"I don't understand what you just said." - the person who called himself Chan but is not Chan said.

"Chan allergic to almond, there's one time we are celebrating his birthday together and didn't notice there were almonds on the cake, then Chan fainted right away after eating that cake." - he said and hand on the sword ready to fight the fake Chan.

Suddenly, the fake Chan burst out to laugh again, this time even harder. I felt that my back is all wet by sweating.

"Very smart Hwang Hyunjin, you are still care about him indeed haha...but you guys are a bit too late."

"What did you do to him?" - I can feel that my throat is dry.

"You should forget about him haha..." - the fake Chan continue laugh.

"Asshole!" - Hyunjin stabbed the fake Chan right in the heart.

But the scariest thing is he is still alive!!!!! Hyunjin can't believe his eyes and so did I... A monster wearing Chan mask!!! Where is Chan? Is he dead? Who is that monster behind the mask?

Sadly, I couldn't make through to see who is that because I was scared to death and accidentally wakes up. I can feel that my heart is still beating very fast, sweat dripping down my face and tears scrolling down my eyes.

In a very dangerous condition, I saw some thing pink on the monster head.
